“I had a wonderful first time experience at Afghan Kitchen. I reserved for early dinner and arrived while the happy hour specials were still available. The staff were attentive and very friendly. The food was fabulous, everything was mouth watering and flavourful. The food was both visually appealing and appetizing. Will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu! We ordered the Afghan chicken nuggets, bolani bread, and the KBL to YVR platter. Everything was so delicious! Great portion size, had to pack to go. Amazing flavours.“

The ambience is uplifting with their positive decor, especially the definition of coffee.There is a wide variety to choose from when it comes to the menu. I thoroughly enjoyed the egg and cheese with bacon on an english muffin. This is not your fast food style, it was homemade with a twist of their special sauce that added a hint of spiciness. “Our go to Mexican restaurant when we cross the border to grab gas. Service is quick and you get the same fresh quality of food every time you order. It is located between Starbucks and the gas station so the area can get busy especially in the summer time. Great place to dine outside and be by the water.“
“The Railway Cafe is awesome. My son loves trains and the entire staff made sure that he had a great time with the entire eating experience. The food was delicious and the portions were generous for the price. “We don't dine in, we take out pizzas from the King George location, so I can't speak to the atmosphere. But we are very impressed by the pizzas - the Montanara and Romana are outstanding and definitely our favourites so far. The crust is fantastic - it's somewhere between a thin and deep dish crust and is the perfect combination of crispy and chewy. Very similar is the focaccia, which is also excellent. We are looking forward to trying the other combinations on the menu and so happy that they are located in our neighborhood!“

“My wife and I dropped in for lunch today, on the basis of a Google search. Only one table was occupied when we arrived, but it started to fill up quickly. There's no table service; you place your order at the till and pick it up when it's ready, which happens quickly! I ordered the chile relleno and a couple of chicken tacos, while my wife chose the "3-pack" of enchiladas...one each of pork, chicken and beef. We got started with salsa and chips, which look like they're made in-house and are very tasty. The food was ready in a matter of minutes, and looked beautiful on the plates. The chile relleno was fabulous, and the soft tacos were far and away the best I've ever eaten. My wife raved about the enchiladas and decided that the pork was her favourite. It's probably a good sign that, by the time we left, we seemed to be the only people there who weren't speaking Spanish! Between the food, the music, and our neighbours, it felt like we slipped away to Mexico for lunch. Great experience and we will definitely go back!“

“These guys literally feel like family. They see me in the line and already have my drink ready to go because they know exactly what I drink. The owner works very hard I see her there almost every day and on holidays. The drinks are good, compared to like cruisin coffee I feel like definitely the drinks are mixed better at this curb shots. And they are prompt. They get people their orders in a timely manner I'm not waiting in the line for very long even when I pull in and there's a line of five or six cars I'm only in that line for maybe 4 minutes 5 minutes. Definitely five stars Worthy.“

“I love the vibe this little town has, all year round. There's so much beauty for a smaller vicinity. There's lots to do in Birch Bay, especially during spring and summer. The state park has a beautiful campground, there's the water park, beaches, a candy shop, go carts, and lots more! It's my favorite part of Whatcom County!“

“I don't ever drink bubble tea, but I was told by a friend to check this place out since apparently it's the best in White Rock/South Surrey. I went and it was fairly quiet so there wasn't a line. Because of this I asked the cashier what I should get and that's where I fell in love. Derek Chen is probably the best employee for a store I have ever been to. He was very patient with me and suggested a lot of different options and got to know me personally so he could make an accurate recommendation. This country needs more employees like derek. I ended up getting a passionfruit drink with boba and it was delicious. I'd come back again just for the service from derek and maybe explore what other options mr chu has to offer. 11/10“
