“This was our first time going to Battle's kitchen. 10/10 for service , 10/10 for communication, 10/10 for food. There was a bit of a wait but as other reviews and us being understanding people we didnt care. They accommodated my request for our toddlers food plate to swap fish for small order of chicken strips. Our friend and my significant other got the cajun seafood basket and they said "They will definitely go into a food coma after eatting their entire order." my toddler loved everything and devored everything, I ate everything as well. We had all ordered the southern sweet tea also a 10/10 not too sweet not too bitter, just right. All in all safe to say We recommend this awesome establishment! Im so glad we discovered this place and definitely worth the 45 minute drive. We will definitely be back to try more of what their menu has to offer.“

“Kowloon Inn is truly a gem. What I value most in a restaurant is simple: great food, fast service, and fair prices—and they deliver on all three.

The server was friendly and genuine, which made the whole experience even better. The food was excellent—easily one of the best spots for this style of Chinese food. To put it in perspective, I’d say it outshines China Palace in Bellingham, and Panda Express would be a distant third.

The staff is quick and responsive, even when it gets busy (which is understandable given they’re short-staffed at times). But with 30 years in business, they clearly know how to make a mean chow mein.

If you go, I highly recommend their number combinations—they’re filling, tasty, and come out fast. Quick, yummy, and consistently satisfying—Kowloon Inn is second to none“

“It's insane how good this place is and their "Second Breakfast" menu is to DIE FOR. Their food stands out amongst other restaurants' brunch/breakfast menu with their items like the savory Shakshuka and thick-cut french toast and I've never been somewhere else in town that does giant cut-fries that are flavored; such a fun experience! “I give it a 3 out of 5. The food was wonderful. We got the pepperoni pizza, garlic knots and clam pasta dish. The place was very clean. the ONLY reason I cannot give this a place a 5 out of 5 is because the lady who was making looks like marscpone cheese at the front counter kept licking her fingers while making it ( I counted like 6 times in a 30 min wait time for food) then when they put the lid on the container they took thier finger and wiped off the excess and put it right in thier mouth and put it away. like i said the food was great ,but the whole time I got a whole show and it kinda ruined it for me especially since I drove over a hour to come to this place“

They're easily one of the best restaurants meets breweries in town, and have made a name for themselves as a fan fave in BHAM. “This cafe is one of my favorites in town and I have taken multiple friends/family here! They have fun rotating seasonal drinks, a clean and visually appealing interior, dog-friendly outdoor patio space with water bowls available to borrow, and out-of-this-world scratch made biscuits. I love that I can use a punch card for biscuits and drinks too! Their roasted coffee is delicious, I especially love the birch latte. For food my partner loves the pimento biscuit sandwich, and I'm partial to the biscuit with high quality raspberry jam and butter. The indoor space is small, and it can get busy on a weekend! The huge windows are very inviting and it's great people watching from inside.“

“It’s the depot. It’s chill ambiance vibes in here most of the time. Dim lighting and leather couches, it’s moody and romantic for sure. It can get pretty physically warm when it’s Tuesday night jazz indoors so that’s something to remember for the fall/winter months. I’m sober but they make the best Negroni in town if you do drink. The staff is low key and I like that about them.“

The staff was extremely friendly and Shannon who called out the bingo numbers was hilarious. Loved that our pug Gloria got to run around and meet all the other dogs and people.“

“One of the best cider houses I've been to. They serve a diverse menu of ciders, like Elderberry cider, rose cider, pineapple habenero to name a few. Most are available in 6 packs to go.
