“This was our first time going to Battle's kitchen. 10/10 for service , 10/10 for communication, 10/10 for food. There was a bit of a wait but as other reviews and us being understanding people we didnt care. They accommodated my request for our toddlers food plate to swap fish for small order of chicken strips. Our friend and my significant other got the cajun seafood basket and they said "They will definitely go into a food coma after eatting their entire order." my toddler loved everything and devored everything, I ate everything as well. We had all ordered the southern sweet tea also a 10/10 not too sweet not too bitter, just right. All in all safe to say We recommend this awesome establishment! Im so glad we discovered this place and definitely worth the 45 minute drive. We will definitely be back to try more of what their menu has to offer.“

“Kowloon Inn is truly a gem. What I value most in a restaurant is simple: great food, fast service, and fair prices—and they deliver on all three.

The server was friendly and genuine, which made the whole experience even better. The food was excellent—easily one of the best spots for this style of Chinese food. To put it in perspective, I’d say it outshines China Palace in Bellingham, and Panda Express would be a distant third.

The staff is quick and responsive, even when it gets busy (which is understandable given they’re short-staffed at times). But with 30 years in business, they clearly know how to make a mean chow mein.

If you go, I highly recommend their number combinations—they’re filling, tasty, and come out fast. Quick, yummy, and consistently satisfying—Kowloon Inn is second to none“

“When we pulled up to the restaurant, we were greeted with a sign on the door asking customers to be nice to the staff. I was perplexed. During our visit there, all of the staff were exceptionally kind, helpful and attentive. Their food stands out amongst other restaurants' brunch/breakfast menu with their items like the savory Shakshuka and thick-cut french toast and I've never been somewhere else in town that does giant cut-fries that are flavored; such a fun experience! “I give it a 3 out of 5. The food was wonderful. We got the pepperoni pizza, garlic knots and clam pasta dish. The place was very clean. the ONLY reason I cannot give this a place a 5 out of 5 is because the lady who was making looks like marscpone cheese at the front counter kept licking her fingers while making it ( I counted like 6 times in a 30 min wait time for food) then when they put the lid on the container they took thier finger and wiped off the excess and put it right in thier mouth and put it away. like i said the food was great ,but the whole time I got a whole show and it kinda ruined it for me especially since I drove over a hour to come to this place“

“Found this coffee served in a restaurant while visiting my son recently in Washington (they served the “Velvet Elvis” dark roast). “Our Pug Rescue- Evergreen Pug Rescue recently held an event here and it was a 10/10 experience. Loved the selection of beer and cider to choose from. The staff was extremely friendly and Shannon who called out the bingo numbers was hilarious. Loved that our pug Gloria got to run around and meet all the other dogs and people.“

“Went to get a drink with an old friend. I couldn't decide what to drink so I asked the bartender, Sydney, to surprise me. She made one of the best lemon drop martinis I've ever had. “Muddy Waters is my favorite espresso stand in Whatcom County, hands down.

I've been ordering from Muddy Waters for a long time now and honestly can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review. Every single person I've encountered there has been so friendly, and I really love their values as a local business.

I always order the same thing (decaf latte with coconut milk, since I have dietary stuff going on), and it is consistently my favorite latte around. They use Cafe Darte coffee, and it's just good, quality coffee every time. I've never once gotten a bad drink from them, and at this point I've ordered more times than I can count.

Every once in a while I'll treat myself to their sausage breakfast wrap with a side of salsa, and it hits the spot every time. I love how they cook it. I honestly haven't branched out much beyond my usual order, but that's a testament to how happy I am with what I already get. Maybe I'll try the breakfast sandwich one of these days.

The service is fast too. Even when there are four or five cars ahead of me, I don't feel like I'm waiting long at all.
One thing to know: the parking lot is small and shared with the neighboring business building, so it can get a little tight when the espresso stand has a line. It's just part of the experience there, and regulars know to expect it. Not a complaint, just something to be aware of if it's your first visit.

If you're local, do yourself a favor and stop by. Great coffee, sweet people, and it's nice to support a business right in the neighborhood.“

“Greek Town Food Truck in Bellingham is definitely worth checking out! I tried the slow-cooked 10-hour lamb gyro, and it was absolutely delicious. The lamb was incredibly flavorful and tender, and the whole gyro was easily one of the highlights of my visit.

Since it’s a food truck, the seating is outdoors, but they’re conveniently parked at a local brewery, which makes for a really fun and relaxed atmosphere.

If you’re in the Bellingham area and looking for some great Greek food, I highly recommend stopping by Greek Town and checking out their menu. I’ll definitely be back to try more!“

“Now I'll admit I'm not a fan of hipster trendy pizza but this was pretty good pizza. I forgot the one I had but it had lamb, cherry tomatoes and on a white sauce... It was yummy and was enjoyed very much. Staff was all smiles and eager to serve and be sociable; providing information, jokes and swiftly refilling drinks.
