I attended the Arts & Ales Holiday Market and enjoyed a pint as well as a cup of mulled wine while I shopped the market. Also fueled up with one of their famous bowls, the Banh Mi bowl.“
“I've been following Stella Sopra on Instagram for awhile and finally had the chance to try their food at the Tulip Valley Winery. The owner is incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our food was perfect. We tried the beef lasagna and daily special ravioli with chicken and roasted red peppers. The sauce on both was vibrant and just incredible! We loved the winery location and the tasting flight and cider to go with our meal. A perfect stop!“

“Firehouse has a super pleasant atmosphere inside and out, plus a very pleasant staff. Inside is a wood burning fireplace usually kept going in colder weather. Outside is an amazing sycamore tree which has been allowed to spread its branches: if the Buddha had lived in Bellingham this is the tree under which he would have been enlightened. A downside on the inside is that space is limited, and it can get crowded.The espresso drinks are good, not great. The menu is limited and neither inspired nor inspiring. Too, there is no way to find out what the day''s offering is either by internet or my phone.“

Stopping in on a late afternoon, we ordered the chips and salsa and the cheese platter for snacks. My daughter loved them both. I was a fan of the cheese with the cherry jam.2) Drinks: I was happy to see cider on their beer list. I ordered an Oregon cider that wasn’t too sweet.3) Service: It was impeccable. “Bellewood was a side bar for us on our trip to NW Washington, and boy are we glad we went! Their products are so yummy...especially the honey roasted PB! But hands down, the honeycrisp apple vodka and the pumpkin spice liqueur are our favorites!! And we can even order them online!
