“If you haven’t been to Battles Kitchen yet… run, don’t walk. I swear, I’ve tried something new every single time we’ve gone, and every time I leave wondering why we didn’t find this place sooner. The owner? Absolute gem of a human. The food? Straight up from another planet. So far I’ve had the crawfish boil, seafood boil, Cajun tenders, shrimp po’ boy, lemon cake, banana pudding, peach cobbler, lemon pepper wings, and beignets and every single bite has been perfection. I would gladly go broke buying dinner and dessert here every day if I could. If you haven’t tried them yet, you are 100% missing out. They never disappoint. Ever.”

GREAT breakfast sandwich, three kinds of hot sauce and fast service at lunch Sadly , there will come a time, hopefully much later rather than sooner where I’ll be up here to settle affairs. “Small coffee booth located in the middle of ferndale. Frequented by the high-school students, timing is everything on the weekdays. This place fills up. They run weekly and monthly specials and have all the staples of most coffee stands. Staff is always friendly and open to giving recommendations.”

“I do love their coffee but I have recently caught at least one barista tipping herself when I use “Tap”. The girl that did it had at least one finger nail painted as a strawberry. So just make sure to finish out your transaction yourself.”

Well scratch that itch with the epitome of a good American burger for 6.79 and a couple bucks for fries on the side. Holy shit is this good value for fast local food. “I enjoy getting my hot white chocolate mocha from here. I had ordered a coffee from the cruisin by the airport in Bellingham and didn't notice until I was on the freeway that the drink wasn't right. I stopped by this location on my way home and told them what happened. They have me my correct order with a smile. This is my usual location to get my coffee fix AMD I'm glad they sent the extra mile.”

“I ordered my meal to-go. It was prepared quickly, smelled delicious and was very reasonably priced on their lunch menu. Lunch items came with your choice of soup, your choice of rice and a generous lunch sized main item. All topped off with a couple of fortune cookies.
This restaurant is easy to find especially if you are familiar with the location of the Bellingham Xfinity store or Goodwill store. Definitely will go again.”

“Betty and I, had a spectacular exsperience last night , with a impropt, visit to The Leader Block..little date night, we Where The only couple in the place and got spoiled ,by Ree and Roberto. Our meal was outstanding . I give them 6 out of 5 stars”
