“Absolutely wonderful Mexican food - you'd almost think you were closer to the border but on the south! In fact, I was in California the week before and couldn't be happier with the food we got.We stopped here as we were craving Mexican after having seen all those TacoTime signs (chain food = ?).We got tacos and burrito charro - expect lots of sauce, like enchiladas! It was delicious, filling, and great to eat while waiting at the border. Anytime I'll be passing the border again, I'm absolutely stopping here!“
“This is a very clean restaurant, the staff was very nice. The food is consistently good as with any Taco Time I've been to. Keep in mind it's 5/5 for a quick and easy bite. If price was on here I'd have to say for fast food they are overpriced. Over 10$ for a mini meal.Vegetarian options: They have many bean options. You would have to ask if they use animal fat for the beans. Deep fried items are probably cooked in shared oil.Kid-friendliness: Between mini meals and kid items they would work for a good quality meal.“
“Was pleasantly surprised by this food truck! It is close to the border (for anyone crossing from Canada) and a great pitstop before hitting all of the shopping stops Canadians usually hit in the US. The food was really good, there is nowhere to sit so we sat on the field behind & the people making the food were super friendly and took our garbage after. We saw other people who had just crossed the border so it seems it could be a popular stop!“
“I stumbled across Chihuahua while in Ferndale on business and I have found a gem. Great food, I had the Carne Asada recommended by Maria at the bar, and Javier made the best margarita I have ever had. The food, drinks and service were second to none and hanging out with these two characters was more fun than watching my sister fall down the stairs. They didn't even charge extra for the entertainment. Watching these two dance around behind the bar was like witnessing a Cirque du Soleil show. I will be back!“
