This place is AWESOME! We recently went and dined as a large group (about 14 or so of us) and the staff was efficient and so kind and did amazing taking care of us. Their food and drinks are absolutely delicious, and we loved that there were loads of options for both our vegetarian and gluten-free diners!
Definitely worth checking out and love that Bellingham is home to their new location!

COA Mexican Eatery & Tequileria in Bellingham offers great food and tasty drinks, with a Paloma being a standout. The restaurant is very clean and provides an authentic dining experience with a trendy vibe, making the atmosphere quite enjoyable. Vegetarian options are available upon request, including delicious fajita veggies and plenty of vegan options. The price is on the higher side, but the food, staff, and atmosphere are reportedly worth it. Parking can be challenging due to small spots and a tight lot, with some suggesting to park at Joan's and walk over. One diner from Southern California claimed it serves some of the best Mexican food they've had. While the chili relleno didn't meet expectations, other dishes like fresh salsa, chips, and the best chicken chimichanga were impressive. The fajitas were also delicious, featuring yummy seasonal veggies along with the usual peppers and onions. Service was generally good, although there was a minor hiccup with a server disappearing after introduction. Overall, COA is a recommended establishment in town, with plans for future visits to try enchiladas, tacos, and exploring the tequila selection.
Customers highly praise the food, especially the chicken quesadillas, which are described as the best ever, and the carne asada, which is just as amazing. The staff is known for being kind, attentive, and very sweet with children. Many mention that the food is of high quality, with large portions and excellent service. The cozy outdoor area is favored by some, providing a quieter atmosphere. The drinks are colorful, vibrant, and spectacular, adding to the enjoyable experience. The restaurant is considered reliable and consistently good, making it a place that visitors plan to return to multiple times.
