“The food was great! We were however, concerned for the staff during my visit with family members with the heat outside 102 F and it being hot inside. It did NOT seem like the AC was being utilized effectively to support the staff during this HEAT WARNING and to keeping the patrons comfortable! Was the AC off or non functional? Or was it available and just not utilized? If you needed to close to keep your staff safe from the heat totally get it!”

“We were disappointed. The service was very efficient but robotic. The chicken teriyaki is generous, but the rice was simply paste. - so overcooked that no individual grains could be discerned. The broccoli was odd, overcooked above but with undercooked stems. The carrots were undercooked.”

“The Thirsty Badger is a great place to enjoy one or a couple of the 13+beers on tap! You can also bring or order takeout from any of the local restaurants. A relaxing environment and amazing fire pit give you the chance to catch up with friends and meet new people. The music is dance worthy, with a variety of types of genres. The staff are always helpful and knowledgeable of different brews to try.”

“First time here, and I was a bit unsure of how it may be. It was such a good thing that I decided to go there. The two people at the counter were kind and welcoming, they're knowledgeable and gave us time to look at the menu, and answered the question we had. The food was delicious and fresh, the atmosphere pleasant and we enjoyed our time there, we will definitely be back.”

“We don't live locally, but have dined at El Ranchito at least 20+ times within the last 22 years. We've tried many different Mexican restaurants and we always go back to El Ranchito for the food, the drinks, the value and the family-owned environment. We have never had a bad meal or service here. Always welcoming, always delicious. The bonus salsa/chips and dessert are equally as fresh and tasty. We often buy a tub of the Pico de gallo because it's simply amazing. Great food, great place.”

“Having grown up and lived in Texas for almost 35 years, I’ve eaten my share of barbecue. I’ve been in the Northwest the past 36 years and JTs is the best barbecue I’ve had in that time. The brisket sandwich is fantastic. Also enjoy the barbecue bowl. Couple that with a Beach Cat beer and a view of Birch Bay and you’ve got Heaven on Monday nights! Highly recommend!”

“Today was late 2000s pop music; YUCK. Usually, 70s, 80s classic rock and pop and occasional newer pop mixed in. Good is always fresh and good tasting. Order taking is fast and food is delivered quickly. Never had any problems with the order after 50+ visits to this location. Favorite fast food restaurant.”

“In my opinion, Muddy Waters is the best coffee in Lynden. I've always received friendly service. Their prices are the best I've seen, and my little boy loves the kids' cocoa and Italian sodas.”

“Love the sandwiches and salads, the bread is perfect. The last few times I've gone, the prices shown on the board are lower than what I was charged. Staff said the board wasn't current, the prices need to be changed.”

“If I had a word to describe this place it would be as follows.
Syros is the greatest mix of Italian and Greek I've had close to the Canadian border. We used to go to Mykonos over near the Bellingham Airport before they ceased operation, and we were looking for a new Greek eatery ever since in the area. We found Syros a few months later, and I highly recommend this place for dinner and lunch.”

“A wonderful shop with a marvelously relaxing atomosphere. I would recommend this establishment over Statbucks. The cost is comparable to other shops; however, you get more for your money. I have tried any of their food, but I look forward to trying something soon.

Parking: The parking spots ate relatively small. Also, there are many spots, but sense, there are many businesses in the area parking fills up quickly.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are two spots dedicated to disabled parking. However, the spots are small, and the surrounding spots encroach on the two spots.”

“We took a field trip up to Edaleen farm to meet and learn about our dairy supplier. Mitch was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. His passion for his work is transparently evident in how engaging he was throughout the tour. Additionally his commitment to his herd, his staff, and their wellbeing is impressive and reassuring in an industry notorious for its lack of.Really fun visit, learned heaps, had a great time.”

“Are used to go to the Starbucks quite often because it is not nearly as busy as the standalone Starbucks store across the Guide Meridian Street. It is your typical grocery store, Starbucks, and they offer consistently good coffee and service. It’s a great place to grab your favorite Starbucks espresso drink while you do your grocery shopping.”

“I passed by Lynden from Vancouver, BC and was looking for a quick eat. Had heard that this was the best thai in whatcom county so I gave it a try. First, the atmosphere was really great - it was raining outside and the open concept of the plaza with the little khoi pond and bridge to get to the restaurant was amazing. I ordered a chicken pad thai which was very authentic and tasted great. It was a little heavy on the sauce, but the portion was huge and it had the right mix of sweet and savoury. Would definitely come by again and recommend it to anyone passing through the Lynden border.”
