“We were disappointed. The service was very efficient but robotic. The chicken teriyaki is generous, but the rice was simply paste. - so overcooked that no individual grains could be discerned. The broccoli was odd, overcooked above but with undercooked stems. The carrots were undercooked.“

“While in the PNW from the East Coast, i needed my Taco Time fix in Silverdale. I forgot my wallet with cash & credit cards in it on the counter and I didn't catch her name, but one of the employees turned it in with everything in it. “Ok, this is definitely a secret place, very unassuming, but amazing!! The food is excellent. Try the Unagi Sauce with your sushi. Yum (extra 0.75 though). The deep fried California is sooo good along with the Mexican Roll.
The new server lady is very friendly. Don’t forget to ask for the free tea (you can ask for sugar too).
The only reason I took a star away is because I got food poisoning here from the chicken roll once. Ha I still come back though. 😆 It’s that good. I just don’t order the chicken. 😆😉
They also have gluten free soy sauce and food options.“

“We've been going here for years since the first location opened in Guilford , I used to tell the owner that he needed to open new locations because I was driving from Abbotsford to Guildford just to get his famous donairs 😋 . Now there's locations everywhere ' thank you boss ' ♥️ if you haven't had one ... nows the time .“

“When I arrived at Sushi Nara in the late afternoon of Saturday, it was quite vacant, so I did not have to wait for a table. I ordered the Chicken Donburi and the House Special sushi roll. The donburi was terrific; the chicken was crispy and savoury, the rice was admirably good and the teriyaki sauce was potent in sweet flavour and help tied everything together. The house special was spectacular, it had everything you wanted in sushi, literally rolled into one. The miso soup that came with the entrees was a soothing side to have.
The service was great. The staff was courteous and very quick when they came with my food in what felt like minutes after I ordered. The restaurant’s ambiance was quite calming and like some of the décor such as the potted plants and the cat banners.
Overall, this is a great Japanese restaurant and would very much like to come back there soon. My only regret is that I did not go there sooner.“

“King Kabob in Abbotsford is truly one of the best places for authentic Persian food! The food was incredibly delicious, fresh, and full of authentic flavor. The chicken was perfectly marinated, juicy, and grilled to perfection with amazing BBQ flavor. The tomato served with the meal was also delicious and added such an authentic touch to the experience.
The rice, kebabs, and overall quality of the food were outstanding, and the portions were very generous. You can tell everything is made with care and tradition.
What made the experience even better was the excellent service from the owner, Ali. He was very welcoming, friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the visit. His hospitality made the restaurant feel warm and inviting.
If you are looking for authentic Persian cuisine with amazing service and high-quality food, I highly recommend King Kabob. Definitely one of the best hidden gems in Abbotsford. I will definitely be coming back again!“
