The Service is why I like The Newsroom. Look, nobodies ever going to get it right every single time. There’s no way you go to a restaurant and every time it’s excellent, not even with servers. We’re all human. We all have good days and bad days, it’s not about leaning in on someone because they had a bad day because you’re paying for the food or service, if you think that way, you’re not welcome. My wife and I went to dinner tonight and showed up about 7:20. We ordered our food right after getting there. I had a couple of beers while waiting and when our food showed up at 8:02 I tried to order another beer. Our waitress was extremely kind and accommodating but told us the manager said they couldn’t serve me another beer because it was after closing time. I went in late afternoon. I was the only customer. The server told (didn't feel like I was asked) me to wait a minute. I waited... The place was empty and I wasn't asked if I had a preferred seat. I was seated to her convemience? She did get my drink quickly but I waited quite some time for a meal order. I almost skipped the meal but I was hungry. One of the owners showed up and helped another couple who came in. That couple noticed the place was cold. No comment from the owner...read full review
