The smash burger was absolutely amazing. I’ve rarely had a burger this good. The fish and chips portion were a little underwhelming but the fish itself was very good and tasty.Good beer list. Cesar salad was great. Service was great. We came hungry and left happy and full. And again, OMG that smash burger… wow.

I am sitting in my car after leaving this restaurant and I’m so upset I have to write this review before I head home. I went to the Newsroom Pub with my adult son who just moved to Lynden. He was excited to try the place as he would love a restaurant to eat wings and watch the game. Everything started out great, good atmosphere and we ordered onion rings to start. They were great. My son ordered the wings and fries and got the chicken panini and a side of macaroni and cheese. My meal was fine, but far from great. My son’s wings were BRIGHT red in the middle. Not just the bones, but the meat too. We called it to the waitresses attention and she brought a manager (?) over who agreed that they were alarmingly red. She took the plate (2.5 wings eaten only) and showed it to a guy in a cowboy hat in the back. When we got the bill they discounted that meal by 10%. ($1.60). We complained that he did not even eat half the meal and then they took the remainder of his meal off the bill. This is the only time I’ve given a negative review as I know everyone makes mistakes, but $1.60 discount was insulting as my son has to worry he will have food poisoning and they took half of the meal from him without any offers to replace his meal.

A great little shop with a great atmosphere and very attentive service! Although we were taking out, the waiter still patiently introduced the menu and recommended the food we wanted. We ordered the classic burger. The meat was great and you won’t get tired of eating the whole burger! The decoration inside the store is great and gives people a comfortable feeling! When I visit this town later, I will come here to dine~ AMEX credit cards are accepted!

The service was great and the atmosphere was classy yet laid back. I ordered the 3 piece fish for $18. I was served 2.5 fish nuggets. lol to say I was dissapointed is an understatement. It was also not very good. I took a picture of how the plate was served to me. I did not touch it or eat any of the fish or fries before I took the picture. Really unfortunate. Smash burgers looked awesome. Do not order the fish and chips.

Only issues is prices are super high and online menus show one price but it not the price that you are charged it's almost double.

This place was a great surprise. I really didn't know what to expect but came away quite pleased. Their menu has plenty of choices, including burgers, sandwiches, salads, and some comfort foods like Mac and Cheese. I chose the Mac and Cheese, which came with Brussel sprouts smothered in the creamy cheese sauce. (I know what you're thinking) It was great! I would definitely have it again if I didn't want to try one of the burgers next time. The restaurant is beautifully remodeled with great attention to detail, making it quite comfortable. The service was very friendly, but I think they were understaffed, so it was a little slow. Our waitress was busy, and we didn't get to see her as often as we should have. But she was working hard and always with a pleasant smile. We will definitely return to try some of the tempting burgers.

Extremely rare for me to write a review, althoughafter receiving exceptional professionalism with our servicer Charisse at The Newsroom Pub. I was definitely compelled. At the risk of sounding brazen, my company has offered me the privilege to work withWorld Brands in Major High competition locations. As well as the Entertainment industry for a few decades now.The decorum by which Charisse conducted herself is something I only see in these highly recruited locations. It was refreshing to see such class in an establishment, that obviously has taken pride in not only their food, but the honorary modernized atmosphere.Highly Recommend.Bravo Lynden!

Super cute place. They had some original block letters from when the place was a newspaper. The food was surprisingly good and satisfying. I ordered takeout. While I waited I enjoyed the ambiance and historic information on the walls. I would highly recommend if you are in the area.
