“The Service is why I like The Newsroom. Look, nobodies ever going to get it right every single time. There’s no way you go to a restaurant and every time it’s excellent, not even with servers. We’re all human. We all have good days and bad days, it’s not about leaning in on someone because they had a bad day because you’re paying for the food or service, if you think that way, you’re not welcome. I go to the Newsroom every Monday night. No it hasn’t been perfect every single time but it’s never been something that I could hold against them. Until I start walking on water and performing miracles, I’m just going to stay in my lane. Now, the service there is top tier. Because of the service, I show up every Monday night and I sit back and enjoy great food and an Amazing bartender.“

“We stopped in for Happy hour prior to the movies as it is nice and handy. It was a special Thursday that offered Pasta at great prices and the tasty garlic cheese knots. Stella Artois and Bud lite were on sale. Another couple of beers on sale would have been nice, but I like Stella well enough, so just ordered it.
The service was impeccable with our sweet waitress who could lift dishes that weighed more than her! The Baba perogies were delicious..not quite like home made but lots of sour cream and some buttery fried onions as well as fresh green onions. I’d highly recommend trying those.
Our second dish was wings, both salt and pepper and sweet Thai chili. They weren’t very large wings and for the price of $18.00+ the ranch dip and few sticks of vegetables left me wanting , bigger and better and more than 8 of them. The dry ribs came in a fancy holder lined with a black paper funnel, filled with a ton of kale leaves and a handful of yummy dry ribs..more like maybe a neck bone..very flat and a bit of meat each side, but crispy and tender and nice and hot, with a Japanese kewpie type dip that was tasty on its on, and a pairing that maybe you could grow to like, but I’d have loved to dip them in a good whiskey barbecue sauce!
The other best offering was the garlic cheese knots..4 in a cast iron fry pan, all hot and gooey and on sale! Those were the winner of our dinner!
I’d go back as I think the potential is there for more for your money. That’s what we look for nowadays because who can even afford a night out at the pub? And funny that someone mentioned lack of silverware, because we had to ask for a knife and salt.“
