“We are staying at the VI Homestead location, so we thought we would give Steakhouse 9 Bistro a try. We had a wonderful meal with great views, super service, and wonderful food. We ordered a starter of salt and pepper pork riblets. We always get these when in Canada, but this is the first time we have seen them on a menu in the states. These were better than the Canadain salt and pepper ribs, and that is saying something.My wife had the spring mix blacken chicken salad. The chicken may have been a bit over blackened and was pretty salty. The greens were fresh, and the dressing was very good. I had the French Dip, and it was amazing. Loaded with tender beef on a great roll. the star of the dish may have been the Aujus. It's a little bit thick, not too salty, and very flavorful. The meal came with wonderful fries to top it off.We will certainly come back, if for nothing else, because of the salt and pepper riblets.“
“Discovered this place for the first time tonight and wow! Super impressed. A lovely couple running this restaurant, and the food was delicious. I had the chicken souvlaki, it was juicy and tender and lemon potatoes were to die for! My husband had the roast lamb and the portion was so big. “Great place to grab some great beers and ciders. They allow food orders from several of the food spots in the complex and the serve yourself system is a great way to try the numerous selections of beer, wine and cider. They also carry some very interesting off sales.Very open and covered patio area“
“We had a large group and they had seating available for us super quick in the lounge area with the full menu. Pretty good prices and I loved that the had small plate options too. Good coffee, great biscuits and gravy, and really good French Toast. They let me add strawberries and whip cream to my small plate and it was perfect before we got on the road.Parking: Free street parking and small lot across the streetKid-friendliness: Restaurant in front. We saw lots of kids and the staff is kind. Back lounge was kid free“

Everyone wears the same kind of outfits, so it’s easy to fit in. Grab some Carharts, slip on some Romeos, and git yerself a cowboy hat, you will fit in and you just might have the night I had. “I've been in to main street maybe 20 times in the last 2 years. All the lady bartenders are awesome. The guys as well. But the last 5 or 6 times I came in. Molly has been working. Before I hit my seat where I always sit. She had my drink in front of me before I got there. It was steak night. She remembered how I like my steak. I've only encountered her tge last few weeks. With her it's like cheers. She knew what I wanted and was on top of everything. Do not misunderstand me. Everyone is great. But the point is. She had my drink on the bar just as I hit my seat. I only have 2 other places that were on top of it. Here at glynn's Shamrock and a place in Michigan. She is attentive and knows when to bring another drink. I don't stay long. But it's nice not to have to order. It's just given. Thanks Molly“
“Dinner last evening (10/20/23) was the very best Filet Mignon we’ve ever had…so tender and tasty atop a bed of mashed potatoes. The Pesto Salmon was outstanding as was the Salmon Dinner. Great friendly staff including manager Brooke who took the time to chat with us re the history of the building. Highly recommend! We don’t eat out a lot but this is one place we will be back to!“
“I made a reservation online, and was seated right away even though my date and I arrived early. I marked our reservation as a date and the table for two was adorable. Our dinners did not take long to come, and tasted great. We had a few drinks and were not disappointed, even made me my pickle back shot that I couldn’t find on the drink menu. We had a very nice experience, thank you to all the our servers and cooks.“
“First time here and didn’t know what to expect. I ordered the prawn souvlaki and my fiancé ordered the chicken souvlaki. Both the chicken and the prawns were very flavourful and cooked to perfection (not over cooked and dry), so I would highly recommend one of these dishes. My only suggestion is that they should consider using a little less oil (but that’s just a personal preference). Very attentive and friendly waitress. Had a great experience and cannot wait to return for another meal here!“

“Overall good classic burger and Yam fries, however wife found the chicken penne alfredo bland. The burger had quite a good sized patty for the price and was a good burger. Nice portion of yam fries. Sauce for the yam fries not my taste. Penne alfredo just lacked much taste with semingly unseasoned chicken but was still OK. Loved the patio and will probably be a great place to sit in the greenery in summertime.Parking: Parking was good but dead when we went so hard to say“
“Great pub with a beautiful outdoor beer garden with a fire pit. Decent selection of rotating beers and ciders. Lots of weekly activities, trivia night, karaoke, open mic and paint night. The owner/bartender Justin is always friendly and chill. It's like the Cheers of Lynden!“
