“Had my birthday dinner here on September 25 and our server Zen was amazing! He was so friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and made sure we were taken care of the whole night. He even brought us a dessert at the end, which was such a nice touch. Really appreciated how kind and attentive he was. Great service and a great experience overall!“
“Nothing better than service with an attitude here for a hockey tournament, they closed the door said they’re at capacity despite several empty seats. The staff was super disorganized and only one waitress was bringing our food and drinks she’s run off her feet, while the two others focus on telling people they’re at capacity. Terribly run and unfriendly service except for one gem of a waitress“

“As someone that’s recovered, finding this place was a total game changer. The first time I went in I only had about a year, and I was so happy I cried. I had no idea there would ever be a place I could go in and sit down and have a drink. One of my favourite stores around, so greatful to have found this place!“

“We had a wonderful experience at Mesob Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered kitfo, beef zilzil, and a vegetable combo for five people, and everything was flavorful and satisfying.
We also enjoyed traditional Eritrean coffee, which made the experience even more special. ☕
The atmosphere was clean, attractive, and welcoming, with soft background music that created a relaxing environment. The staff were polite and friendly, and the prices were reasonable.
Overall, Mesob is a great place to enjoy delicious food, traditional coffee, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!“

“Here we are on April 4th, 2026. I have just read that the Keg Restaurant is discontinuing three cheese butter (again!) Please tell me this is just a bad April Fools joke. Many years ago, you did this and the buying public told you what an error that was. This is a poor choice. It is one of the highlights of my every visit. you're joking, right?“

“My friend was visiting from Edmonton, so I brought her here for brunch, and she absolutely loved it! We had the Brekkie Sando and mimosas, and everything was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is bright and welcoming, and the service was great. Such a great spot to bring friends and family. I can’t wait to come back.“
“10/10 experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff who were friendly and attentive throughout my entire dining. The atmosphere is beautifully designed as well. The food and drinks were fresh, flavourful and made with care. I want to thank Mark for recommending the strawberry matcha latte and tiramisu latte, I found both drinks had the perfect amount of sweetness. He was very knowledgeable in the drinks and food as I was looking for something as a light snack and highlighted the BLT, thaimato & basil and the chocolate croissant. I highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for amazing coffee, food and service. Thank you again Mark and we will be back !!“
