“Been coming here since middle school and have had fantastic experiences every time even when the line is wrapped around the building during rush hour. Service is fast and the drinks are delicious along with many lovely flavor options with and without sugar to choose from. Anytime I have a friend in from out of town I suggest or bring them here for a coffee, milkshake, or cinnamon roll which are amazingly doughy, soft, and fluffy like many of their sweet treat options. I will continue to come here for many more years to come as long as it's running thank you!“

“Some days, when you wake up, everything feels wrong. A pinched back nerve, windy, wet deluge, an overwhelming sense of burden. That is how I woke up.

So I went to this adorable cafe for my umpteenth time, to find a tiny bright spot on a day best swept under the rug. And it was the highlight of the day. Amiable staff, a warm greeting, and the last Banana Bread Latte of the season brightened my otherwise dismal morning.

I wanted to sit down and relax and I was able to. They came immediately to serve us water and see if we needed anything. Came back for our order and it was such a good experience. Love the staff. “my go-to! they have the BEST coffee and redbull along with really good prices! i will say the ai menus they make- the drinks never really look how they do on the menu. i went there the other day because i had seen they posted a drink from “the sandlot” menu on facebook. i went there hoping it looked the same as the one on the menu and i unfortunately didn’t get that. it has happened a few times as well- not just this one time but i feel like if you’re gonna advertise your drinks the way you do- you should make them exactly how they look or at least ask the customer if they want how it’s advertised. other than that, i love this little coffee stand. the girls are always super sweet. they make conversation and it’s never “too much”. at least not for me!“

“Muddy Waters is my favorite espresso stand in Whatcom County, hands down.

I've been ordering from Muddy Waters for a long time now and honestly can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review. Every single person I've encountered there has been so friendly, and I really love their values as a local business.

I always order the same thing (decaf latte with coconut milk, since I have dietary stuff going on), and it is consistently my favorite latte around. They use Cafe Darte coffee, and it's just good, quality coffee every time. I've never once gotten a bad drink from them, and at this point I've ordered more times than I can count.

Every once in a while I'll treat myself to their sausage breakfast wrap with a side of salsa, and it hits the spot every time. I love how they cook it. I honestly haven't branched out much beyond my usual order, but that's a testament to how happy I am with what I already get. Maybe I'll try the breakfast sandwich one of these days.

The service is fast too. Even when there are four or five cars ahead of me, I don't feel like I'm waiting long at all.
One thing to know: the parking lot is small and shared with the neighboring business building, so it can get a little tight when the espresso stand has a line. It's just part of the experience there, and regulars know to expect it. Not a complaint, just something to be aware of if it's your first visit.

The community is great welcoming and nice. The actual coffee is great and they have a cider drink that I really love.
