“I've been working beside the Hive Doughnut shop for a few months, building a condo development. Every darn morning, sweet aromas waft towards the framing crew, causing disarray and envious language. It's actually difficult to not focus on how delicious and fresh the doughnuts are from the Hive. I've traveled around Canada and the US and I've never had a better doughnut in my 46 years of life. The staff are always friendly and courteous and the atmosphere is wonderful. Great job, Hive!“

“I go to this location almost everyday to grab a chai and some Breakfast cause I work close by. One of the workers there is great. Nav was her name I believe. I’ve also met the owner once and we had a chat. He’s an amazing personality, very down to earth and we had a nice convo. Their chai is the best in the game. I’ve tried it at so many other places but theirs is far better and the chicken tikka roll is absolute fire?. Highly recommend this location.Just feedback for other cashiers (not nav) at the counter. If a regular customer that comes in almost everyday and is asking for a cup of water to go. Please don’t tell them that it’s $0.25 for the cup. Thanks guys!“

Kinda a mix of a small coffee shop, mini Hallmark store and bookstore all rolled into one.As others have mentioned this is primarily Christian themed so if that’s not your religion you may find the choice of books somewhat limiting as I did.Nevertheless, they have a wide assortment of other trinkets(Willow Tree etc), board games and a big selection of Playmobile.The coffee shop is great too. Big selection and the Cafe Mocha was a hit. I lucked out and was able to treat myself to the best g/f muffin, normally special order but Anna had a few extra. My husband was also equally impressed with his homemade apple muffin. We loved their cafe lattes made with special Nicaraguan coffee beans! Best in town! We noticed their outdoor patio which will be lovely on a sunny day. Ample free parking, this cute cafe has it all homemade soups, sandwiches, crepes and breakfast items. Os mentioned we can even order online so our meal is ready when we show up! “It's open early. Sandy and crew are good people and it's nice knowing I can get a 32 oz caffeine boosted iced latte first thing in the morning. And the fact that they have to put up with me all the time says a lot about their patience and customer service. “Super cute and cozy bakery on the main drag in Lynden. My pattern lately seems to be going to bakeries in the late afternoon on weekends, when the best stuff is usually picked over and the pastries have been sitting in the case for a while. Today was no different as it was almost 3 pm.That didn't matter! Their cinnamon roll, which is the size of my face, was delicious with a ton of cream cheese on it. It's a multi-sitting size roll. I also picked up an almond pie, a maple bar for the husband, a lemon white chocolate muffin (also delicious and moist) and 2 ollibrullers. Fabulous.Minus a star for the odd checkout experience. In addition to pastries, they sell some Dutch cocoa, large coffee cakes, chocolates, etc. I picked up 2 nice chocolate bars to go with my haul, and the girl just scratched her head trying to ring them up. She told me they weren't in the system. A manager came by to help her and, I guess picked a price and said, "That looks fair." The girl told me the bars are $3.99 a piece and that it's sort of the price they settled on since they didn't have them in their system. I told her never mind. I asked if the bars were new to the shop and she said no, not really.Huh? Weird. Whatever. Everything else was-- in Afrikaans as I don't know proper Dutch -- "baie lekker"“
