Bread. Pudding. Muffin. I can’t believe how good it is! Some of the best atmosphere in town, always great beans. Place has been in our rotation for years, but the bread pudding muffin takes Adagio up a notch in my book. Pastries were average before, but we didn’t come for pastries. We came for beans snd vibes. A classic northwest coffee place from the golden age of coffee culture. A spiritual center of downtown Bellingham vibes that I hope lasts forever.

This has to be my favorite cafe in Bellingham by a long shot. The ambience is simply unbeatable; the staff are all incredibly friendly and many have worked there for years, making it feel homely while other places often feel too polished and impersonal. It's the perfect third space where you can expect to start chatting with a stranger and find the time quickly passing. It's also a great spot to just read or catch up on work.
