“My absolute go-to coffee shop in town. The staff are always super smiley, friendly, and happy to tailor your drink exactly how you want it.
As a tea person, this spot is hands-down my favourite for a proper London Fog—paired with a fresh ham & cheese croissant or one of their juicy, house-made loaves after a Saturday run along the seawall. Pure bliss.
Special shout-out to their double-shot flat white: it’s on another level compared to the big chains. You’ve honestly resurrected my faith that a tasty, perfectly-tempered (not mouth-burning!) coffee actually exists.“

- excellent pizza
- gorgeous views of the harbour and ocean beyond
- you can walk up to the trestle bridge after you inevitably eat way too much pizza (it's SO good) and work off some calories
- the vibes are vibing at all times

Cons:
- if you don't get one of the tables in the covered area, there's NO shade on the lawn. Recommend to bring an umbrella or shade tent on a hot day
- the bathroom situation is lacking. While better than an outhouse or porta-potty, there is often a line for the washrooms and they are often dirty and overflowing with garbage“

“A great local spot right next to the Ferry Terminal. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and it was fresh and absolutely delicious. This is a cozy little spot and the owner and her mom who run it are so sweet. I’ll definitely come here again as supporting local spots in the community is so important. Looking forward to trying the fresh pressed juice next time!“

“This is truly one of my favorite coffee shops.

Everything about this place is wonderful—the coffee, the friendly staff, the beautiful interior, and the way it blends so perfectly with the surrounding scenery. It's the kind of place that gives you energy after a long, exhausting day, or prepares you for a busy one ahead.

Just walking here is a pleasure because it's located in such a beautiful area. The staff always greet you with warm smiles and genuine kindness, which makes me want to come back again and again.

Whether you sit inside or outside, the gentle aroma of freshly brewed coffee fills the air. It reminds me to slow down, take a deep breath, and appreciate being alive.

The photos I'm sharing are from my visit last autumn, but my appreciation for this place hasn't changed at all.

This café inside Whole Foods Market is a great spot for a quick and tasty drink. Their coffee is rich and flavorful, perfect for a morning boost or an afternoon pick-me-up. I also love their fresh orange juice—it’s always refreshing and naturally sweet. The quality here is consistently good, and the convenience of grabbing a drink while shopping makes it even better. If you’re at Whole Foods, definitely stop by and try it!“

May I start by saying that I had the best egg&cheese muffin paired with an even amazing Americano ☕️ - kudos to the connoisseurs behind the scenes!
On a different note, I am saddened and slightly annoyed at some of the tone-deaf and negative reviews about this location. My work experience in the service and quality assurance industry has made me resilient to subjective behaviour, but this one takes the medal 🏅 The over-sheltered and pampered individuals who disliked the service, taste and temperature of their cafeteria food not being able to meet their inflated standards, could have easily communicated eloquently and asked for a little more to make their experience better - a simple smile, a different food item or correction to the order may have been more helpful; kindness will only come back as kindness.
Finally, the purpose of Google reviews is to help the public make educated and friendly choices and not to be subjected to an individual's frustrations. Peace ✌️ and Praise 🙏“

“Got there a coffee and a little snack while waiting for the fairy. It’s a lovely little coffeehouse with a great view in the bay. We could spot some seals swimming around while sipping coffee. Coffee was delicious and tasty, the staff was friendly. If you’re waiting for the fairy, go there!“

“I like the Tim Horton chicken noodle soup, summer or winter. It's comforting! I'm not sure what is the TH guideline in serving this. I've been to many outlets. The one in Park Royal mall serves it best - the bread is toasted and warm in a bag, the butter is room temperature, the soup is hot! A lot of other outlets would give me cold bread with almost frozen butter!!! Yikes!!“

“Best coffee I've ever had at Starbucks, White Chocolate Macadamia Cream Cold Brew made by Manju, an excellent barista. She was so wonderful to my young children who were ordering hot chocolates. She is a credit to her organization, staffing a Safeway location Starbucks all by herself.“
