“The cafe is really nice. The ambience is welcoming and chill. Staff were very friendly, polite, and accommodating, very helpful with helping decide on which to order based on preferences while also giving some information on where or what their products are made with (ordered the raw coconut latte and the staff had explained where they got the milk and even the type of coffee beans they use). Nice place to just sit and enjoy. The mochi donuts are chewy and light as expected, not too sweet.“

“Really enjoyed Chahalo—one of the better bubble tea spots around No. 3 Road. I tried the jasmine green milk tea and was impressed by how pronounced the tea flavour was; fragrant, creamy and not watered down like some places. I’d recommend going around 50% sugar to let the tea come through. The shop has a clean, modern feel and the service was friendly. A little on the pricier side, but the quality is there. Definitely a spot I’d return to.“

They also carry coffee beans from specialty roasters for sale and have fun seasonal drinks. Nice spot to catch up with friends but the cafe is quite small so not ideal for laptop working.“

What you will find, though, is some of the best damn coffee you’ll ever try. R Ki roasts and curates exceptional coffee, and I’m so happy they exist. You won’t find better coffee in the area. Seriously“

“This place is so amazing. I didnt have any expectations but everything was so good and delicious! The triangle kimbap (spam) was so well seasoned and delicious! The mango bingsu was so fresh and yummy. The iced decaf Americano was huge and the coffee flavour was so good?! Service was friendly and the whole wall opened up to the outside on a sunny day to let in the breeze - perfection! We want to come back for sure.“

Fresh tandoori chicken, fish and goat curries, fresh naan, hot chai tea, large selection of (pasta) salads, layers of flavour in gulabjamun, moist brownies, very friendly service, free parking and cool air conditioning. Shah-bash from my group of 3 for lunch. Will be back.“

“Went to Cafe & Life Co for brunch in Richmond. Tried their Island Matcha latte and the wife had the Spanish Latte.

Both drinks are excellent. Creamy and just the right amount of sweetness.

Also ordered the smoked salmon benny and steak with fries for brunch. Both are seasoned well. Eggs on benny are soft poached and the bread at the bottom was not soggy at al.

Steak with fries tasted good, fries were crispy and the sauce had good flavour. The steak though is not the same as the menu pic, which was a letdown.

Flavour-wise, pretty happy about it. Service was also great!

“Love this store but especially the tea. Such wonderful flavours like Cream Earl Grey, Blood Orange, pistachio chocolate! Plus the beautiful stationary and pens but the tea has stolen my heart. On my first trip I didn’t know about this store and no one would know you have such beautiful teas and dishware. They are very hidden in the back. It was only when I got on your website I discovered the tea. I know your stationary are your main attraction but the tea are just as world class! I’m a huge tea lover and the tea here is superb.“

“I am very excited about the platter. It is worth trying. We tried the $78 one and the steaks were juicy and delicious. I also enjoyed the waffle with crispy chicken. The display is impressive. The onion rings are crunchy and delicious. The coffee and lavender latte are okay but not necessarily to try. While it is pricey, it is worth it occasionally. We arrived at 10 a.m. and waited 30 minutes for five people. They have indoor and patio options. The indoor option takes longer for waiting.“

“Came here to try their osmanthus and was not let down. Very fragrant and their pearls were really good texturally. I tried both their osmanthus milk tea and the osmanthus oolong fresh milk tea, both with no extra sugar and both were delicious. No extra sugar was definitely the move as it was quite sweet. The inside is very cute, some seating and they have a little cart of board games for you to play:) will definitely be coming back and I 100% recommend stopping here.“

“The coffee was good but the woman wirh the shoulder length hair placed a curse on me and my family. My 5 month old child turned into a being that could only be described as a mix between a gremlin and baby yoda. Meanwhile, all of my hair immediately fell off, not just the hair on my head, my eyebrows, body hair, and all of the beard stubble fell onto the floor. My wife, who used to be a critically acclaimed runway model turned into a cronenbergian monster, but its okay because she looks kind of hot now.

“My favourite Starbucks in Richmond! Lots of space which makes it great for longer sitting. Staff are routinely nice and friendly even in the morning. Plus my mobile orders are always made quickly. Never had a bad experience despite my many visits!“

Every time I’ve visited over the past few weeks, there’s been a long line and only one person working. Even so, the employee stayed friendly and handled everything really well.
