“I have tried all the jasmine milk teas from the shops around the area and I can say with confidence that chahalo’s jasmine green milk tea is has the thickest tea flavour (some jasmine milk teas i’ve had taste quite watered down and not that good, but i don’t have that problem here at all) and is overall the best tasting. i would recommend taking 50% sugar here though because the 70% sugar was quite sweet. the prices are not that cheap but honestly if you are in the mood to have some expensive milk tea this is the best place to be.“

“One of the best matcha lattes I've ever had. The matcha latte is the star here—nutty, umami-rich, smooth, and finished with a lightly sweet aftertaste. Highly recommend. Parking might be difficult, so just park at CF Richmond Centre and walk to the place.“

Please don’t go here expecting the best service. This also isn’t the place to whip out your laptop and get work done. And, you won’t get your specialty latte with three pumps of caramel syrup here.

What you will find, though, is some of the best damn coffee you’ll ever try. R Ki roasts and curates exceptional coffee, and I’m so happy they exist. You won’t find better coffee in the area. Seriously“

“We were wandering Steveston and happened across Nikaido. I have wanted a nice pen for letter writing for a long time but was unsure of what kind. The two staff were so helpful! They explained the difference between pens and I was able to try the ones I was interested in. I ended up purchasing a fountain pen and a few bottles of ink. I would highly recommend stopping in and checking out Nikaido.“

“I orders citrus jade tea with aloe Vera with no sugar and less ice, it’s still has a bit of sweetness but it’s just right! I can taste the sour of the grapefruit and sweetness of the honey which is amazing!

Strawberry Shortcake
The whipped cream was light and refreshing, not heavy at all. The overall sweetness was well-balanced and not overly sweet. The sponge cake was soft, fluffy, and airy.

Matcha Tiramisu Latte
Very smooth and easy to drink, with a rich matcha flavor. I ordered it hot, but it wasn't overly hot and was even slightly cool, which I actually appreciated because it made it comfortable to drink right away.

Croissant
A nice balance of savory and sweet flavors without being overpowering. The outer layer was wonderfully crispy, and the caramelization on the crust added an extra layer of flavor. The buttery taste was present but not too strong.

Hojicha Basque
The subtle hojicha flavor paired beautifully with the cheesecake. The cheesecake itself was rich without feeling heavy or overwhelming. I think the light sprinkle of sea salt on top helped balance the richness, creating a perfect sweet-and-salty combination.

“I’ve always frequented the Cannery Cafe when I have time to spoil myself for lunch. Their brunch options are fantastic and never failed and so this time I opted to try something else. The duck carbonara udon caught my eye for some time and I will say the flavour profile is great and the portion is good. The only thing I would have liked is if the sauce were a little thicker and not so runny/watery. Great for a rainy day!“

“The BBQ meats are standouts, and the other HK cafe food is solid. The baked pork chop on rice is quite rich and I wish it had a stronger tomato flavour.

The interior really reminds me of HK restaurants, it’s nice and comfortable with a lot of booth seating options.

It gets busy around meal times even if the location seems like it’s in the middle of nowhere. Pretty good choice for some authentic Hong Kong food without going deep into Richmond.“

“It's been a long time since my last sip of top quality of Oolong tea. I strong recommend their Shan Ling Xi oolong tea and Pear mountain oolong tea. Amazing taste and reminds me of Taiwan. The owner of the shop is pretty down to earth with good hospitality warm fun attitude. The lady Amy who works there was very patient and kind to answer every of my questions.
