“A hidden gem, low key, cafe disguised in the industrial zone. It's difficult to come to this place and choose one single thing from the menu. Everything is so delicious with the authentic taste of Brazil. Not mention that everytime I go there I end up doing some small grocery shopping and taking some frozen ready meals. Everything is so good that makes me feel home. But there is one particular thing they make there that tastes even better than any of its kind I ever tried even in Brazil: the brigadeiro! They make them soft, light and not overpoweringly sweet, just the perfect recipe that you won't find anywhere else. Before going home after your meal, ask for their brigadeiro for the perfect dessert. Be prepared to end up ordering more than you planned for, you won't resist. Also, the food is made fresh, so the orders will take a while.“

Latte art was super adorable. My drink wasn’t too sweet, but fresh and frothy like ones from other coffee chains. I’ll give minus 1 star as drink wasn’t filled to the rim. I wish they filled it to the top instead of under pouring.“
“My mother and I visited this diner shortly after I had a doctor’s appointment regarding my potential lung infection. I was pleasantly surprised by the countertop menu signs, which allowed me to communicate my order despite my injured throat preventing me from speaking. The family staff were very patient, friendly, and transparent about the food items they could provide.While I waited for my order to be served, I was delighted by the nostalgic interior design, the children’s drawings on the wall, and the gentle music filling the room, which made me feel at ease after all the day’s troubles. My banana loaf slice and cream in mushroom soup were served promptly and tasted wonderful. I particularly enjoyed the mushroom soup, which was warm and tasted fresh and smooth.The staff took great care of us while we were eating, and bid us farewell with great kindness. The morning after this visit, my throat miraculously healed, and I believe that the love and care put into this diner’s mushroom soup is what healed it. This was an experience I’ll never forget, and I’ll be sure to visit again the next time I have to visit the doctor’s office. God bless this diner. Highly recommend.“
“Obsessed with Nikaido’s home and body care scent collections because I’ve never found the same brands anywhere else in the lower mainland. When I drink their teas, everyone asks me where I got it and I’ve brought Nikaido for multiple people on their request.What really got me HOOKED was their stationary collection. It’s an understatement to say they have every pen and speciality paper you could ever want and you’re able to TRY THEM.I got into fountain pens and ink collections at this store and I have no regrets. They even carry nice cards to write and send with my new beautiful inks.This store is truly a beautiful masterpiece of curation and everyone who works there feels like they were hired for their passion and love of the curated goods. I could and have spend hours in there and gladly tell them to take me money all the time.“

I went for the roti canai (w/ curry dipping sauce), but also tried the Penang shrimp roll. Both were great. Staff were very helpful and the place had a great atmosphere that reminded me of my travels in SE Asia. Malaysia St. will be my first stop in Vancouver on my next visit. Note: they are a 5-7 minute walk from the Aberdeen Skytrain station. Do a shop at Oomomo and grab some delicious Malay food afterwards for a perfect excursion.“

“I made a special trip from Taiwan and wanted to try hand-brewed single-origin coffee, but the store said that it only provides siphon method for internal use. I felt that it was a pity! !In fact, the taste, brightness and siphon of single-origin coffee presented in the hand brewing method definitely have different flavors~~~~I sincerely recommend that stores offer hand-brewed coffee to highlight the value of single-origin beans ^_^“

“We had breakfast on a Monday morning:- 10am and there were people waiting in line. Good thing there were still a few empty 2-seaters available. Just party of 3 or more need waiting.- Surprisingly good service for HK-style restaurants. Waitresses asked if we need this or that even before we opened our mouths. Not just one waitress but two of them being extremely helpful and exceptionally polite. Very surprised.- Portion size is small in North American standard but considerably more than restaurants in Hong Kong. Taste is Hong Kong authentic.- Price is fair. $14.95 for a small Beef Brisket Noodle 牛腩米線 + Soy Sauce Chow Mein 豉油王炒麵 + hot coffee. $15.95 for Ham & Cheese Omelet 芝士蛋奄力 + French Toast 西多士 + Satay Beef Macaroni 沙爹牛肉通粉 + hot coffee. But if you factor in how much work need to cook these, then price is considered expensive.- All other restaurants in the plaza close on Mondays. Maybe that's why Van Tea was full when we arrived at 10am Monday morning.“
“Okay throughout my years living in Richmond. I've been to pho hoa only 4 times.1st time was very bad. Bad food, bad atmosphere, poor service.2nd time was the same.Then fast forward a number of years and Pho Hoa completely revamped because they are an international pho chain. I believe previously it was poorly handled by previous owners until new owners came and followed the corporate revamp.3rd time was phenomenal, they had a special coconut curry pho and wow.Then fast forward to 2024 and I went there again.It was late at night, and I went after work with a co worker.We were practically the only ones eating inside.But man oh man, the pho was really good! I had the pan seared garlic steak pho. Wow very garlicky, very beefy, good amount of steak. However I wish they gave me a bit more noodles. Also the noodles they used are VERY high quality compared to most places. The noodles are very white, and has the perfect chew and bite and really picks up the soup.My friend got the peanut sate and he loved it! I tried his broth and it was sooo creamy, peanutyy, and good sate flavour.Also we both got the fried roll and wow that was one of the best I've ever had. I believe they put in some minced pork, shrimp, salmon, and veggies. Great happy for the pho!And lastly, we devoured our bowls and left nothing. Drank all the soup too. It was just too good to pass!Throughly impressed by Pho Hoa!!! I definitely will be going there more now. And they are the only pho in Richmond that opens past 12am.“

They have plenty of food to offer from wraps to sandwiches to pastries. I ordered the chicken pesto wrap. It's good sized. I like it. Lots of coffee choices too. Staff is friendly. Place is clean. There's plenty of parking space as well.“
“The wait time was only 5 min. Came out around 12:30pm on a Monday and it was perfect! Weekday is better than a weekend. The butterscotch latte was super yummy and the right amount of sweetness. I got it with oat milk and could not taste the difference with regular milk. The Benny was great! Wish the patty was a bit thinner as it was thick to eat and the hollandaise sauce was pretty light and quickly evaporated but the whole meal itself was yum. The price is a little much but worth the amount you get served. Would definitely try the pancakes next time! I will be coming back. :)“
