It’s the perfect spot for a quick breakfast, a coffee run, or just a cozy place to grab a snack. The staff are usually friendly, and the atmosphere is casual and welcoming. For a Canadian classic, it really hits the mark every time.“

“Favourite spot for authentic, wood fired Montreal style bagels in Vancouver. I’ve visited Montreal and do feel that Siegel’s is authentic. Basically has legendary status amongst locals, a real family/community like feel. I moved to Vancouver this year from abroad and funnily enough, Siegel’s has become a staple for me especially when feeling home sick just because of the welcoming and friendly atmosphere (and of course the amazing bagels).“

“I have been coming the spot for years. The owner is extremely kind and has remembered my order since the early days. Everything is always fresh and tons of options for toppings and spreads. Lots of care and attention put in to every bagel made. Absolutely delicious. Whether you’re on the run for breakfast or forgot your lunch - 100% recommend this is your new go to.“

“We had a big craving for bagels and were intrigued by the mochi addition. Overall the bagels were delicious, with chewi consistency. You don't need cream cheese.

- DOUBLE CHOCOLATE: chocolate bagel filled with gooey chocolate
- RED BEAN & CREAM CHEESE: red bean was a good subtle flavor
- MOCHI MATCHA: mochi inside, making it even chewier, subtle matcha flavor
- APPLE CINNAMON: comes with pieces of apple
- GARLIC BUTTER CREAM CHEESE: our favorite of the bunch, tasted like a garlic knot
- HONEY BUTTER: our least favorite, since it was less unique than the others

Ambiance:
- Hours are late for a bagel shop
- Shop is hard to find, go underground
- Seating is outside the shop in the common area of the building
- Staff are friendly and you can see them making the bagels in the back“

“Charming little place great location excellent selection of food. I had the turkey Panini top notch. Soup of the day was excellent as well. It looks like it's a family-owned business where the people take pride in what they have built.
