What a treat to find this great place by serendipity! It’s fun, festive, and they have great food and sweets, as well as Jewish holiday supplies (which as a tourist I didn’t need, but it was still nice to see). I got some rugelah, which was delicious, but I had just eaten a big meal, so didn’t get more. Now I regret that I didn’t at least taste their bialy. I shall return next year and make amends!
I usually have a Cinnamon bun daily for breakfast. Their Cinnamon bun is probably one of the best in the city, but I was shocked to see a 12.5% price increase earlier this week. My wages doesn't go up 12.5%. All I have to say is good by Solly's

Was the first one there in the morning and stood there for 3 minutes before anyone even made eye contact with me. Got a cream cheese and smoked salmon bagel which ran $15. Came with a pickle spear and a few kettle chips. The bagel was ok, not the most flavourful or best consistency bagel. Smoked salmon was tender.
