“Throw out everything you think & know about North American bagels and open your mind to the deliciousness that are Japanese bagels. These are simply amazing and I am slowly working my way through all the flavours that are on offer. So far have had the opportunity to sample: red bean & cream cheese, mocheese, garlic butter cream cheese, honey butter, and teriyaki mochi. All amazing choices that you can’t go wrong with.
They are super chewy and stuffed, and if you have the opportunity to have them heated, it just takes them up that extra notch into divine.
While it’s set up as a grab-and-go, there’s a great sitting area right outside the storefront in the buildings underground, complete with tv, arcade games, and a water fountain.“
“Charming little place great location excellent selection of food. I had the turkey Panini top notch. Soup of the day was excellent as well. It looks like it's a family-owned business where the people take pride in what they have built.
Very friendly and accommodating staff“

“Favourite spot for authentic, wood fired Montreal style bagels in Vancouver. I’ve visited Montreal and do feel that Siegel’s is authentic. Basically has legendary status amongst locals, a real family/community like feel. I moved to Vancouver this year from abroad and funnily enough, Siegel’s has become a staple for me especially when feeling home sick just because of the welcoming and friendly atmosphere (and of course the amazing bagels).“
“I work nearby and I was hungry so wanted to try the shop out. I had the vegetarian sandwich on the multigrain bagel. It was nice you can choose what you want in your sandwich, and I thought my sandwich was really good. One thing was that the cheese wasn't melted when warmed. But tasty sandwich nonetheless“

“This will change ge everything you thought about bagels. I have been raving about this place and suddenly advocating for bagels like a nut case.
For something that seems so simple you can tell how much thought and work goes into it and how, when done right, by people that care , that simple thing becomes the star. Seriously- a bagel.“

“Indeed as many posts indicated this is a great well established neighborhood bagel place.
Tried their cinnamon bagel with honey vanilla cream cheese, slightly warm about CAD $7.
Perfect snack and ultra sweet.
Friendly service.“

“No line no wait in the late mornings.
She gave me time to review the menu and I got the local fav Stevenson.
I’m from the United States and this was the best bagel I’ve ever had in my life!!! It’s expensive but I’m literally having fresh salmon, can’t beat it! I’m getting another before leaving out“
