“There's an old cafe in Stevenson that I've been passing by for a long time. I've never had the chance to try it, but I finally got to try it today, the service is good and the atmosphere is lovely right in the heart of Stevenson. The food is quite good, with lots of new creations on the menu, along with nice drinks, all at reasonable prices.“

“The best brunch spot in Vancouver! Me and my friends love to have brunch here, my favourite is the berries crepe! Everything tastes so fresh, the staff are really nice, and the vibe is cozy. Their ice-cream is so good too, I love how it's homemade (rare to find ice-cream like that nowadays). Soo good. Oh, and if you order tea you get a really yummy date treat on the side :)“

“Ordered the Salmon Benedict.
It had a nice amount of hollandaise sauce (your plate wasn't a hollandaise sauce soup at the end of the meal), eggs were gently poached with love. You have the sweet, savory, umami, and fatty flavour balance.
Coffee latte is the standard, good quality kind.

Next time I would bring my family here.“

“What a gem of a place in the Westend of Vancouver right by English Bay & Stanley Park , with just a short walk from our stay at the historical hotel 'The Sylvia'
I had the Munch Skakshuka & hubby the Goya Benedict, both were colourful & delicious along with a Turkish coffee & Flat White which were flavorful & rich.
Simona our server was very friendly, kind & accommodating to our requirements, making sure that we were very contented with our service here.
I would highly recommend this resturant and Simona as your server.

“Great place for brunch. Their monthly special drinks are always excellent (the April Lemon Poppyseed Matcha was one of my favourite matcha combinations ever), and their food is delicious too. Recommend going early to grab one of their mochi donuts, as these tend to sell out. Sad to hear they're closing in Sep!“

“Twisted Fork Never disappoints. Today was no different. Finished off with a Yummy Brownie Sundae after my Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich and Sweet potato tots.“

“Huge fan of Pallet! I’m a regular and have never been disappointed. The staff are always so friendly, the food and drinks are always fresh, and the cafe is always clean. Love their coffee and “too matcha” drink. They’ve also got a build your own breakfast sandwich and it’s always a hit. So good!

There was a mistake in order today and they fixed it right away and with so much kindness. Other Vancouver businesses could learn from this level of customer service and i’ll be sharing this with my all friends.“

“A great cafe spot with a menu that's full of variety. I had the avocado and chicken omelette which had REAL chicken slices. The meal is large. My companion had a beef donburi dish that was tasty and large. Non rushed service and very friendly staff. The only drawback is the chairs. I feel like I'm in church as the backs are so upright and stiff! 🤣“

Vancouver’s best breakfast sandwiches and possibly the world’s best ricotta pancakes - they’re to die for. And in the evenings Hunnybee puts on taco and wood fired-pizza nights with a lively atmosphere. Small wonder that the place has a dedicated customer base.“

“We had our wedding reception here, let me start off by saying the manager/owner was so sweet, she and her husband were so quick to confirm that we could hold our wedding here. She offered to create a sign for outside the restaurant, always quickly responded to any questions or concerns. They also ordered just for our event extra tables and chairs. The employees/waiters/waitresses here are so sweet and attentive, and for their first experience doing a wedding, I was impressed with how well they adapted to the chaos of at capacity customers and crowds. The magic of the day can not happen without the people behind the scenes hustling to make it special. Waffleland cafe is so beautiful and a sweet gem in the heart of Gastown, we are so lucky to be the first wedding and I just know there will be more. Cute, whimsical, romantic decor made it so easy to add little bits to customize it to our celestial/forest. We were given a little card/gift from the owner and a sweet card that we read as we left the event. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you again Waffleland team!“

“We had Felix Zhou, owner of bread x Butter cater our wedding party for 90 guests just this past weekend. He was very easy to work with and helped us plan a menu that was good for a lot of our guests with allergies ( nuts, dairy, celiac, vegetarian) It was a menu of grilled meats/ portobellos for the vegetarians, allergy friendly , beets and quinoa salad and non dairy potato salad. All the grilling was done on site with a 6 feet bbq Felix was excellent at looking at my sisters backyard and suggested placement of not just the buffet area but all the other stations ( cold drink, hot drinks) His staff took care of the setup and takedown of the buffet. The most wonderful thing was he let us bring plan our own appetizers and dessert. We enjoyed samosas and Vietnamese salad rolls ( Bau Chau) and a Chinese style whole sucking pig. With covid still at the top of our minds- food was served to the guests through the buffet by serving staff: Chef Neil ( a friend of Chef Felix) made great suggestions on traffic flow for the buffet. Chef Felix’s wife Lisa helped serve the suckling pig. So to have the perfect wedding dinner, contact Chef Felix. He can work with you to plan what you want for your big day or any other type of catered function( private dinner party???) We are so thankful we did 💕💕💕“
