I’ve tried so many different dishes here, and honestly, everything has been delicious, from the Eggs Benedict to the pasta. I’ve never been disappointed!
And a special shoutout to Choi, who is always so friendly and welcoming. They always make me feel comfortable and create such a great atmosphere every time I visit. I always leave feeling happy and well-fed. 😊

The food was really good, not perfect.

The coffee was very good...surprisingly so.

The Halloumi Honey Waffle thing I had was really good.

Not perfect but a genuinely good place for a brunch/lunch style eats.

Seating is good but again, not super spacious, expect busy lunch and breakfast times to be busy.

Very friendly staff. Good location.

“I passed this cafe and felt drawn to brunch. The coffee and dishes were excellent, including Turkish options. I chose the salmon Benny, served by staff who were friendly and efficient. The meal was delicious, and the atmosphere offered good vibes.

“Had a great experience at Their There in Kitsilano. The location is fantastic, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the food was excellent.

The Eggs Benny was definitely one of the highlights fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Great spot for brunch with good coffee, friendly service, and a nice Kits vibe.

Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!“

“Popped in for breakfast and was well impressed. The staff are lovely, the two girls front of house were very welcoming and kindly gave me a free ticket for the museum, which was a top-tier bonus. Food-wise, you get a proper generous portion and the flavours are spot on. My only gripe is that the coffee was a bit miniscule. Tasted good, but gone in two sips! Definitely worth a visit though.“

“Twisted Fork Never disappoints. Today was no different. Finished off with a Yummy Brownie Sundae after my Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich and Sweet potato tots.“

“Great coffee and even better service. The barista noticed I was into different beans and started giving me recommendations. I’d ordered an Americano, but he brought over a pour-over sample he’d made himself and it was fantastic. I wanted to buy the beans but they were out, so he actually called another shop to track them down for me. Didn’t try the food, but the pastries coming out to other tables looked amazing. Really personable, and the coffee is excellent.
Plus, great wifi and comfy tables for some laptop work

“Hi, this is an awesome cafe for breakfast, brunch and lunch! My favourite is the ‘hungry man’. Food, and service are great, the atmosphere is relaxing. The menu focuses on breakfast, brunch and lunch, the chef is excellent. It's a traditional style breakfast place similar to the pancake house concept with a broadened menu that includes pancakes and other delicious meals.“

“We had our wedding reception here, let me start off by saying the manager/owner was so sweet, she and her husband were so quick to confirm that we could hold our wedding here. She offered to create a sign for outside the restaurant, always quickly responded to any questions or concerns. They also ordered just for our event extra tables and chairs. The employees/waiters/waitresses here are so sweet and attentive, and for their first experience doing a wedding, I was impressed with how well they adapted to the chaos of at capacity customers and crowds. The magic of the day can not happen without the people behind the scenes hustling to make it special. Waffleland cafe is so beautiful and a sweet gem in the heart of Gastown, we are so lucky to be the first wedding and I just know there will be more. Cute, whimsical, romantic decor made it so easy to add little bits to customize it to our celestial/forest. We were given a little card/gift from the owner and a sweet card that we read as we left the event. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you again Waffleland team!“

“I highly recommend Hunnybee! Wonderful breakfast and brunch options served in a cozy space with an informal and hip vibe. Vancouver’s best breakfast sandwiches and possibly the world’s best ricotta pancakes - they’re to die for. And in the evenings Hunnybee puts on taco and wood fired-pizza nights with a lively atmosphere. Small wonder that the place has a dedicated customer base.“

“We had Felix Zhou, owner of bread x Butter cater our wedding party for 90 guests just this past weekend. He was very easy to work with and helped us plan a menu that was good for a lot of our guests with allergies ( nuts, dairy, celiac, vegetarian) It was a menu of grilled meats/ portobellos for the vegetarians, allergy friendly , beets and quinoa salad and non dairy potato salad. All the grilling was done on site with a 6 feet bbq Felix was excellent at looking at my sisters backyard and suggested placement of not just the buffet area but all the other stations ( cold drink, hot drinks) His staff took care of the setup and takedown of the buffet. The most wonderful thing was he let us bring plan our own appetizers and dessert. We enjoyed samosas and Vietnamese salad rolls ( Bau Chau) and a Chinese style whole sucking pig. With covid still at the top of our minds- food was served to the guests through the buffet by serving staff: Chef Neil ( a friend of Chef Felix) made great suggestions on traffic flow for the buffet. Chef Felix’s wife Lisa helped serve the suckling pig. So to have the perfect wedding dinner, contact Chef Felix. He can work with you to plan what you want for your big day or any other type of catered function( private dinner party???) We are so thankful we did 💕💕💕“
