“Just had an awesome meal at Tippy’s Cookhouse on Bowen Island. The Yogi Benny is so good and their house-made hot sauce totally makes it. Staff were super friendly, and the atmosphere is great whether your sitting inside or outside on their patio. Plus, it’s kid- and dog-friendly, which is a huge win. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!“

“We visited the lower Gibsons location earlier today and stopped by on a recommendation from a local and we were not disappointed. The best matte latte and caramel macchiato we’ve ever had. We sat by the window enjoying great coffee and a stunning view of the mountains. Staff were really friendly and their merch section is top notch.“

“A great local spot right next to the Ferry Terminal. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and it was fresh and absolutely delicious. This is a cozy little spot and the owner and her mom who run it are so sweet. I’ll definitely come here again as supporting local spots in the community is so important. Looking forward to trying the fresh pressed juice next time!“

“I tried the spicy rice cakes and was pleasantly surprised by how good the texture was. They were chewy, well cooked, and had a nice level of spice that was flavorful without being overwhelming. I also liked that the bowl option allows you to try a variety of different foods in one order, which makes it easy to sample several items at the same time. The ingredients tasted fresh and the portions were satisfying. Overall it was an enjoyable meal and a great place to try different combinations. I would definitely come back to explore more items on the menu.“

“Love this place for their cookies! I've been going here since 2000's and it's delicious..their smartie cookies were fresh out of the oven yesterday...melting in my mouth. Hot a couple java cookies and chocolate chunks. If you buy 6 there is no tax .woohoo!“
“Every time I’m in the area, I always find myself coming back to this one café. There’s just something special about it the way they serve everything with so much love and care, especially the early morning staff. They truly make the experience feel warm and welcoming every single time.
I absolutely love the vibe, the beautiful view, and of course, the drinks from this Starbucks they never disappoint. It’s become my go-to spot, and I honestly look forward to every visit!“

“Honestly one of the best and cheapest cafes there is on campus! They have a very cute vibe, cozy study space, and fantastic food for a very low price! The hot entree I got is only $5, and I can't recommend it enough especially if you are a UBC student :)“

“This is the best way for me to start my in office days. I first stop at this location for my coffee, and not even need to order it. Staff is friendly and is already familiar with me and my order. They anticipate it and always prepare it with care. Nidhi is the best! Very atencious and efficient. Thank you very much for preparing our coffee with ❤️“

“I have been a fan of Merchies coffee for many years. I thought they went out of business when the store I used to buy at disapeared. Then my son got me some Merchies for xmas a few years back I was so excited to find out there were still around! . I wish they would open a store in Chilliwack. I now order my coffee on line . I am in Heaven with my morning coffee now. Merchies Best ...is the best!“

“There's an asian girl here with long hair that always takes my order! She makes the whole place feel lighter like you walk in and she’s already smiling or joking with someone and it kind of pulls you in without trying too hard. The drink I got was a really complicated order for my mum (as she's an inpatient who can't have caffeine but is .. addicted to caffeine) and she was so patient.
We ordered a fig and cheese sandwich which I highly recommend!!! Their espresso is also different, so I suggest trying a caffeinated drink.
The cafe's interior is beautiful as well :) Cafe Ami has become my go-to study spot xx“

“Pizza tastes so good and it is always fresh. However, it is quite expensive, hence the 4 stars.
Service is a little mediocre and run of the mill, nothing that stands out in that regard.
Atmosphere is quiet and calming at night. It's a great place to hold meetings or study since there are study rooms connected to the restaurant!“

“Nice little stop when visiting this side of Bowen Island. The pizza was good with fresh ingredients and a nice crust, though the coffee tasted a bit too light for my preference. The menu is fairly limited, but it is still a convenient place to grab a meal or snack since there are not many restaurant options in the area.“
