“Just had an awesome meal at Tippy’s Cookhouse on Bowen Island. The Yogi Benny is so good and their house-made hot sauce totally makes it. Staff were super friendly, and the atmosphere is great whether your sitting inside or outside on their patio. Plus, it’s kid- and dog-friendly, which is a huge win. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!“

“Nice little stop when visiting this side of Bowen Island. The pizza was good with fresh ingredients and a nice crust, though the coffee tasted a bit too light for my preference. The menu is fairly limited, but it is still a convenient place to grab a meal or snack since there are not many restaurant options in the area.“

“A great local spot right next to the Ferry Terminal. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and it was fresh and absolutely delicious. This is a cozy little spot and the owner and her mom who run it are so sweet. I’ll definitely come here again as supporting local spots in the community is so important. Looking forward to trying the fresh pressed juice next time!“

“Embedded into the entrance of the Regent College Bookstore, and there is ample seating in the foyer of the building to enjoy your coffee and baked good. I had a pecan muffin that was particularly tasty that went well with my Americano Misto. Service was friendly, efficient and the line up moves through quickly. “Blue Chip Cafe catered the dessert for two of our events at the UBC Vancouver Summer Program! We ordered the Java, Chocolate Chunk, Marbelous and Vegan Chocolate Cookies as well as the Vegan Banana Bread.The dessert were gone in a flash so I think it's safe to say that our students really enjoyed them. The Blue Chip Team were such a pleasure to work with and we are looking forward to working with them again next year. Thanks so much Blue Chip!“

“I've been coming here since my school days and honestly never got tired of it. The vibe is just really nice. It is cozy, relaxed, the kind of place where you can sit for a couple of hours without feeling rushed. The food is great too. Everything I've had here has been good, and anyone visiting here must try Tteokbokki. Staff are super friendly and they'll actually take the time to walk you through the menu if you're not sure what to order. Clean tables, tidy counters, no weird sticky spots. Definitely give it a try.“

“The egg waffle ice cream in the coffee shop on the UBC campus is very creative, but it doesn’t have much matcha flavor and is a bit greasy to eat alone. Of course, the egg waffle itself is quite delicious. There are some places to sit next to the counter.“

“Nice place to take some delicious drink with pastries before travelling on the ferry. Our exciting anticipation of the trip added a special charm to this place. This is the starting point with goodies. I like the atmosphere, souvenirs and pictures of local painters. Cute figure of seals before entrance, children like it.“

“I have been a fan of Merchies coffee for many years. I thought they went out of business when the store I used to buy at disapeared. Then my son got me some Merchies for xmas a few years back I was so excited to find out there were still around! . I wish they would open a store in Chilliwack. I now order my coffee on line . I am in Heaven with my morning coffee now. Merchies Best ...is the best!“

“There's an asian girl here with long hair that always takes my order! She makes the whole place feel lighter like you walk in and she’s already smiling or joking with someone and it kind of pulls you in without trying too hard. The drink I got was a really complicated order for my mum (as she's an inpatient who can't have caffeine but is .. addicted to caffeine) and she was so patient.
We ordered a fig and cheese sandwich which I highly recommend!!! Their espresso is also different, so I suggest trying a caffeinated drink.

The cafe's interior is beautiful as well :) Cafe Ami has become my go-to study spot xx“
