Very well made coffee!
They do sell cute tarts, cakes, pastry and other bakery items for the occasional indulgence on a student budget :)
The egg waffle ice cream in the coffee shop on the UBC campus is very creative, but it doesn’t have much matcha flavor and is a bit greasy to eat alone. Of course, the egg waffle itself is quite delicious. There are some places to sit next to the counter.
Hero Coffee + Market, located on the UBC campus, offers creative egg waffle ice cream with a delicious waffle base. The latte and tiramisu are hit or miss - the latte sometimes arrives cold and the tiramisu can be watery and old. Despite this, the coffee and lattes are good, especially the seasonal specials. The desserts like matcha parfaits are tasty and well-priced. While the Bento sushi is just okay, the Peqish sandwiches are slightly better. Overall, it's a great spot for drinks and snacks, with friendly and efficient staff.
