“Today I was so happy to discover this little Korean-style café inNorth Vancouver . The food was absolutely delicious, and the coffee was even organic! Usually when I come to the NV area, I only visit a few of the well-known cafés, but this time I searched on Google and found this five-star hidden gem — and it truly lived up to the rating.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, always with a smile. The breakfast and brunch menu was really interesting — even the avocado toast came in several creative variations, and the prices were very reasonable. We ordered the Avocado Egg Sourdough Toast and the Bibimbap Bowl for 10.99, with extra mushrooms. Everything was freshly prepared by the chef, so it arrived warm.
Their special sauce was unique — a little spicy, a little tangy — drizzled over the avocado toast, paired with fresh salad greens that really boosted the appetite. The beef was also seasoned perfectly, very flavorful, and the coffee was rich and aromatic.
Definitely a place I highly recommend!“

“This coffee shop is one of my favourite place on Lonsdale. They have such a variety of food and everything is fresh and tastes very good. The place is small but very nice and cozy. The staff is kind and friendly.
I like to come here whenever I have chance and I highly recommend this “little gem” as it’s worth visiting.
Today I came for breakfast after my appointment near by and had one of the best homemade breakfast sandwich (fully loaded) in along time. Well done PEGSTERS! Keep the good work! 👏👏🤩“

“Wonderful, cozy neighbourhood coffee shop. They have a nicely curated selection of locally sourced gifts and books as well as a small rack of children's pre-loved clothing. Shop sells local eggs and incredible local frozen Ramen. Cafe serves decent coffee with a small but good looking mix of food items. Cookies are very good and big enough to share. Comfortable indoor seating with some outdoor spots. Very busy around late mornings and on weekends - plan to take out. Wheelchair accessible from parking lot - but a bit challenging for a Wheelchair rider to browse the store portion.“

“Barrio is one of the better places to get your coffee in Vancouver and if you live or are anywhere in North Van, this is a place you definitely want to go. Coffee is reasonably priced and there is seating inside to enjoy your coffee (appropriately safe during Covid restrictions). The cafe also sells beans if you need beans for home. P.s if you’re an Aussie or a Kiwi you’ll love it as Barrio is run by an Aussie, so you can expect good standards.“

“The cutest cafe. Such a friendly greeting upon entering and we were immediately offered the most delicious fresh banana bread samples. The sandwiches all looked so good it was hard to decide. Our lunch was so tasty (the bread was amazing) and the pistachio creme croissant was so good. Glad to have found the Harbourside Cafe on our day trip into the city.“

“Loveliest little shop that serves delicious pastries, sandwiches, soups, specialty beverages, etc. There are also Italian groceries and tons of beautiful treats. It's so cozy and warm, and currently beautifully decorated for Christmas; a highlight this time of year is the eggnog latte, perfectly foamed and spiced. Every team member I've dealt with over the past few days during my visit here from Ontario has been lovely, kind, and accommodating, and if I lived here, you can be sure I'd be a regular at this warm and inviting neighbourhood spot. “The lentil soup was delicious! There aren’t many places that make comforting homemade soups, especially ones that are dairy-free, so I’m glad I found this place for a rainy day. It has a quiet cafe vibe, so it’s good for a quick lunch or snack“

“I quite liked their matcha latte! and also LOVED the barista’s recommendation of a not too sweet chocolatey dessert bar - their truffle bar! The chicken quesadilla was good for cafe standards, light and crisp, though the chicken didn’t seem like bbq chicken.“

“We had our wedding here and they were absolutely amazing. We had a medical emergency during the wedding and the staff were attentive, and handled everything with sensitivity. They helped make a hard time a little easier. It was also the best wedding food I’ve ever had and several other guests came and told me the same thing. The bartender, Logan, was absolutely phenomenal and our guests absolutely loved him. Overall, a really great and positive experience!“

If you haven’t worked in customer service, you may not know how hard it is.
