“Loveliest little shop that serves delicious pastries, sandwiches, soups, specialty beverages, etc. There are also Italian groceries and tons of beautiful treats. It's so cozy and warm, and currently beautifully decorated for Christmas; a highlight this time of year is the eggnog latte, perfectly foamed and spiced. Every team member I've dealt with over the past few days during my visit here from Ontario has been lovely, kind, and accommodating, and if I lived here, you can be sure I'd be a regular at this warm and inviting neighbourhood spot. “Pegsters is such a sweet little family-owned coffee shop! You can really feel the care and warmth that goes into everything here. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the coffee is delicious, and the service is genuinely kind and personal.

I especially love supporting a family-run business where you can tell the owners truly care about their customers and the community. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back—not just for the coffee and treats, but for the lovely experience.

“For your adventure at the suspension bridge to become complete, you should have something to eat at this cliff-top restaurant. Inside is well decorated, and the outside sitting area is lovely. Chris, who helped us with our meal and drinks, was amazing. Lovely wheat beer from a local brewery and great buffalo chicken wings. Definitely worth visiting again!“

“Absolutely delicious 😋
We had the sausage pizza, chocolate pretzel bread pudding, and truffle cream spaghetti and meat balls.

The pasta was super flavorful with lots of sauce and meat ball (recommend getting the bread with it for dipping). The bread pudding is top 3 for bread bread pudding I've ever had. All was well priced for what you get.

Our waitress Rosa V, was very attentive and thoughtful and made the experience feel almost personalized just for us.

“We love this place but recently they haven’t been doing tacos and as someone who is gluten free the tacos and cider together were amazing. Sadly, we had to go somewhere that offered a gluten free meal option. Please, bring tacos back or make gluten free option, we don’t want to miss out on having a fun neighbourhood place to go to!“

“Had the great fortune of trying this Hazy IPA before meeting the owner Kelsey Grammer and watching him pull beer for a few hours. This beer is outstanding! it doesn't have that hoppy bite and has a refreshing citrus finish. Put simply? it's delicious. Looking forward to more amazing beers coming!!“

“I dropped into PokeLani in North Vancouver for a quick lunch, and it was a really good choice for a healthy bite. The place feels clean and casual with a bright, simple setup that makes ordering easy — you customize your bowl right in front of you. Staff were friendly and helped me decide on sauces and ingredients when I wasn’t sure what to pick. The overall vibe was relaxed and easygoing, perfect for a quick lunch or takeout on the go. A lot of people were ordering bowls or grabbing takeout too, so it clearly draws regulars and visitors alike.“

“Oh, how I love Tap & Barrel at the Shipyards! The food is absolutely delicious, and I always look forward to going back! The atmosphere is fantastic, the waterfront views are gorgeous, and there is always such a wonderful energy about the place. And the best part? After a delicious meal, you can enjoy a lovely stroll along the Quay, take in the fresh ocean air, admire the beautiful views of Vancouver, and just soak up everything the waterfront has to offer. “Came here for a casual meal and unfortunately the experience was just okay. We ordered the fish & chips and burger with onion rings.

The portions were pretty good, but the food didn’t taste as fresh as I was hoping. The fish batter looked crispy, but overall the fish and fries were just average. The burger was okay, and the onion rings were crispy, but nothing really stood out.

The biggest issue was the service being quite slow. We waited longer than expected for our food, and the overall experience felt a little disappointing considering what we ordered.

Not terrible, but I think the freshness of the food and speed of service could definitely be improved. Hopefully it will be better next time.“

“Excellent everything! We split a salad, I had the carpaccio, he had the burger, we shared the panna cotta. Atmosphere, service, food, wine, patio, price point = perfection. Highly recommend.“

“Alibaba has a slightly old fashioned atmosphere, but if you are going there for kebab Del and Jigar, it is absolutely amazing. We have been there more than four times, and every single time the food was very fresh and delicious.

He even suggests that if you like, you can get fresh bread from the bakery next door, which is a great idea, although he does bring bread with the food himself. He is very kind, friendly, and welcoming. Even if he is not at the shop, if you call him, he comes, and he makes you feel truly welcome.

We really enjoyed talking with him as well. He has many stories and is a pleasure to chat with. His Del and Jigar truly taste like the traditional jigaraki places in Iran. I highly recommend it.“
