“tried Soltani, Vasiri and the Koobideh. the meals were quite filling and enough for 4ppl. with appetizers costs us $100 approx. Free parking at bakyard. amazing service. if you are looking for Persian Kebabs and good service this is the one.“
“I have been away for a few months and upon my return prioritized a trip to my favourite restaurant, Sempre Uno! It did not disappoint! We usually dine family style, but due to some dietary restrictions we each ordered our own meals. The tuna tartare ranks amongst the best anywhere, and my Strozzapreti Al Ragù Di Maiale (a pork ragu) is rich and delicious. We shared a Gorgonzola cheesecake to finish and all I can say is yummy!! Great staff & servers to guide the experience. I look forward to many return trips in the future!“
“Lunch at Joey's was great but parking was disappointing. I paid for 2 hours at the machine. I wanted to use the EZPark app but despite EZPark signs all over when I got to the machine to get the location code the signs said EZPark App was no more. They suggested other apps but none I had and I did not want to take the time then to download and install a new app. I wound up at lunch a bit longer then I anticipated and yup, I got a $95 dollar ticket“
“What a great first experience I had at this restaurant tonight! I will definitely be back very soon. Beautiful presentation of our prosciutto, arugula + Burrata appetizer (delicious too) — if you’ve seen it — you know what I mean. The pizza was also absolutely divine.Everything we had was fabulous! Excellent food and service from start to finish. We had lots of questions about the menu, and the owner was very accommodating. We were lucky enough to try some passion fruit sorbetto Christina (one of the owners) was making, and I can honestly say that it was the best sorbetto I have ever had! Even better than I had in Italy! Can’t wait to come back to this spot and try some other menu items. Highly recommend! I’ve worked in hospitality for almost two decades, and I can say with confidence, that this place knows what they’re doing.“
“I had really good experience here. My bf doesn’t usually like squid ink pasta but we tried it since the chef Marvin recommended it to us. We absolutely loved it. My bf was surprised how fresh the seafood in this pasta was. I finished all the pasta sauce by dipping the pizza we also ordered. It was too good to be wasted. In addition, all the ppl who work there are very friendly and nice. It’s a very cute place good for a date, girl night, birthday celebration and any kind of occasion. I will definitely go back! You must book a table. This place is always popular and busy.“
“Hadn't been to Bravo for years, after too many disappointments, but I returned after hearing that some of its long-time servers are now actually running the restaurant! You can see and feel the changes happening - a long overdue breath of fresh air. The Fettuccine Cascardi (chicken in lemon cream) was delicious. Looking forward to returning and sampling more of the menu. Hope they start using an online reservation system soon!“
“My wife and I went to this absolute gem of a place today for lunch today. It is like a 25 seater or so restaurant. We ordered Linguine Pesto, Veg Lasagna and Tiramisu. Everything was perfect. I requested for some customization to the Pesto, it was made just the way I requested. The pesto is obviously home made, one could feel it. The Veg Lasagna was perfect, so was the Tiramisu. During our previous visit we had a vegetarian Pizza - remember it being just right. The service is personal and top notch - the husband and wife pair who run the place are kind folks who are clearly passionate about authentic food and exceptional service. This is now our go to place for Italian food in North Van.Vegetarian options: They have a ton of options both in Pizzas and in Pastas. Probably, the widest selection of options for vegetarians in any Italian restaurant in Greater Vancouver region.“
“I placed an order for a Pepperoni pizza and there was a small error. It was quickly fixed and I was blown away by the level of service by who I think was the Manager. I have ordered a few times and the food is excellent. I will be dinning at the restaurant on Lonsdale in the near future. -Aaron.“
“well, i ordered from Deep Cove pizza in the cove and had a terrible experience. pizza online listed $26 but when i got there i was charged $39 - CRAZY!! the owner gave me a couple of lame excuses and stated she would not be dropping the price any amount. She offered NO apology for the misinformation and inconvenience so I left and drove to DJJ's. I was AMaZeD!! ordered the Traditional and it was absolutely deelish!! what a great discovery and i saved myself $3 too! DJJ's is now my go to!!i subsequently read the deep cove pizza reviews and it appears they have been misinforming customers for some time now. Shame on them!!“
“The food is absolutely wonderful. Gourmet and original. We really love the avocado chickpea toast, the soup, and so many of the pastas.Only suggestion is to use a little less packaging. Tendency to use two containers where one could be used.“
“This is one of the best Italian restaurants on the North Shore if not Vancouver. Quattro's was a local institution on Lonsdale. They move the restaurant to Marine Drive when construction hit the area. Service is excellent. Food is excellent. We are blessed to have such amazing food without having to cross the bridge.“
“Delicious food and beautiful location at the Shipyards, N. Van. The kale salad was citrusy with the perfect bite of textures and flavours. I don’t usually like quinoa but they make it like a crispy topping instead of soggy. The daily special crostini with whipped fava bean and burrata - highly recommend! Raspberry lemonade is housemade with fresh raspberry puree and lemon juice mixed with soda, well balanced and not overly sweet. Pizza has that charred bubbly chewy crust reminiscent of pizzas in Italy, 10/10.“
“Enjoyed a pizza night with great flavours especially the Duck pizza and the first time we've ever had duck on pizza and it's highly recommended. Even a slice of simple cheese pizza was delicious. Would recommend for an event and definitely worth a try when you see the food trucks next. Great food“
“Folks, Nicli Antica Pizzeria has a certification from the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana in Napoli, Italy. This means that you are getting the very best of this style that you can find in the world. There are only 12 restaurant groups in Canada that bear this certification. Having eaten pizza in Napoli, including at the famous L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele, which opened in 1870, I can tell you that eating at Nicli Antica brings me back to that same style of authentic Neapolitan pizza. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here and will be back again.“
“By far, the best margarita pizza I have ever had. The dough is well-cooked and pizza sauce taste homemade with fresh ingredients. Such a peaceful atmosphere and amazing service. The restaurant itself is spotless and the washrooms are incredibly clean. You’ll definitely see me here again.“
“Love their deli counter! Many things to discover in their freezer. Beautiful cheeseboards! ~ Feels like Europe. A bit spendy, but it’s a wonderful experience. Every time I go there and the gentlemen behind the counter greet me with a smile and proudly show their produce, I feel appreciated as a customer. Tonight they stayed open to help me put together an easy dinner after we had a tough day at the hospital. ~ Gratzie, Bello!“
“Empty out your pockets.. this is a robbery. Well I can't get mad at the server or cooks as the amount of ingredients is determined by the management.. so this one's directed to you. I ordered lasagna.. I knew it wasn't advertised to come with sides like salad or garlic bread.. so one would expect to get a portion that reflects that.... with the price they charge. What I got was a lasagna no thicker than the width of my cellphone. Maybe a tablespoon tops of protein (which there is a blend of ground pork and beef.. We all know thats the cheapest protein available at a the grocery store). 4 layers of flat noodle with a light sprinkle of cheese on top This was the sadest excuse of a serving of lasagna I've ever seen in my life.. It's so small they actually serve it on a bread plate to try and give an illusion of a proper serving size .. Well let's just say they aren't magicians. I understand now why the place was practically empty. I actually feel like I've been defrauded..“
“Celebrated a 65th birthday lunch with 5 others. Delicious food, great service. You will need a reservation as very popular. Extra charges included a 20% built-in tip and 2.50 per person as we brought our own birthday cake.Parking can be challenging. Watch for tow away signs and 1 hour only signs.“
