“All across the land of Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows, the search for good pizza was scarce. The people cried out for a good pie and the gods responded with mid options. One day, a voice echoed from the distance, “Try The Other Guys!”In all seriousness I was skeptical at first. As a rule of thumb if a pizza joint has a lot of specialty pizzas like smoked meats, and other non-traditional options, it’s a sign to stay away from them because they’re compensating for their lack of skill towards the classics. This couldn’t be further from the case here at The Other Guys. Gave their Philly Cheese Steak a try and I also threw in a Mediterranean.The Philly was incredible, steak was tender, not dry, the caramelized onions held their flavour and the cheese sauce was potent but not too unwelcoming or unfamiliar.The Mediterranean was a walk in the garden. All the veggies were incredibly fresh. Definitely a crowd pleaser for those who don’t want something as heavy.I’m excited to try this place again and i’m glad to be giving them the best referral I can to my friends and family.“
“Although the Bandera bread was still top-notch, the nachos I ordered were not even close to the BP standards that I have come to enjoy. The reduced topping and lack of basic cheese were really disappointing. The other meals my family had were ok. The staff seemed to be in disarray, and our server rarely checked on our drinks as we awaited our meals. This is still better than some other restaurants that I won't mention at this point, but I was let down with the increased pricing and reduced plate sizes. I hope they turn things around as BP is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at.“
“I don't know why there is a bad review for lasagna!! Lasagna here is one of the best ones in Vancouver, nope, in the world! One of my other go-to menus are penne al forno and Gnocci. I heard their Gnocci is all made from scratch. I also love their lovely staffs and I always feel welcomed. Keep up the good work guys :)“

“I wanted to try this restaurant/cafe for a while when I first saw their menu. When I got there, the place was pretty vacant and quiet, which made my visitation comfortably relaxed. I liked that there was a TV that showcased all the meals they make. I had their Grounding Brunch Bowl with Avocado as my 'meat' choice, and it was fantastic. The egg is soft poached, the garlic aioli is very flavourful and went great with all the contents in the bowl. The Dark Roast Coffee was nothing special though and it was served with raw brown sugar. Still, the food is great and I would very much like to return there.Vegetarian options: They serve plenty of vegetarian or even vegan choices such as the Prana Keto and Namaste Bowls, Organic Oatmeal and Vegan Chicken Strips.Parking: The parking is decent and it is in front of the establishmentKid-friendliness: There is a kids menu where they serve basic food.“

A good layer of cheese and a large portion which I could split in half for dinner later. The chairs and decorations are a little dated and need an upgrade but food and service was great. “I would’ve given this 5 stars but I sit in the lounge to get away from toddlers. Unfortunately, even though the service was exceptional and food was great the ambience was ruined for someone placing a kid right beside our table and they were literally hanging over the bar peering down on us. Standing on the chair and they can easily grab my glass of wine. I don’t blame the parent, I blame whoever sat a kid beside an adult table in the lounge section.“

Servers were very personable and respectful when inquiring on our readiness to order as not to interrupt conversation. Food arrived quite quick, within 10-12 Mins of ordering. Latge portions, very fair pricing and never once felt rushed to leave or pay, in fact we had to find someone to ask for our bill, overall great first experience. Will be returning frequently.“
