“This restaurant never ever disappoints. We’ve had many family dinners here and Francesco and his family are the best!Such a warm inviting atmosphere, it really feels like home. The food is always on point. The gnocchi is homemade clouds of perfection. Everyone at our table tried something different as there were so many pasta’s to choose from, it’s hard not to find a favourite. The main dish selection offers many veal options to choose from as well as classic options like chicken parmesan & steak.Seafood options are delish, like the linguini with clams & the prawn appetizer…. Both are absolutely perfect with bread to scrape up all the saucy goodness. The antipasto platter for 2 is a regular on our bill! The classic tiramisu is always on the menu for that sweet ending to a delicious meal.I’m happy to say it’s hard to find something bad to say. They were able to accommodate our large party reservation at short notice with an already packed restaurant. If you’re lucky enough to throw a function here your guests will leave happy, satisfied and full!I recommend this restaurant for a quick dine out with family or for a large party.Vegetarian options: They Will accommodate any food allergies or restrictions you may have including gluten freeDietary restrictions: Will substitute many things on the menu to accomplish you.Parking: There is a parking lot behind and across that’s quite large.Kid-friendliness: The menu has many options for kidsWheelchair accessibility: Flat surfaces. Are able to modify seating to accommodate a wheelchair also“
“What a hidden gem. Found it on Google and when we pulled up outside, I questioned it. But the food is excellent ? And the service was great too. Good quality breakfasts and delicious coffee. The bread tasted homemade, and the sausage was worth the upgrade. Also note, the bathroom is a Dr Who Tardis. Amazing. And there were board games to play while you waited (not for long) for food. A great spot that I'll make time for during my next Vancouver visit“
“Located at the top of Burnaby Mountain, I believe they were recently rebranded/renovated. They offer a very reasonably priced $40 for 3 courses or $65 for 5 courses. The website does mention they only take reservations so do be mindful of that! They had a la carte available at the time as well, but the value is way better with the set menus. We tried the 5 courses (Starter + Sushi Roll (4pc) + Soup OR Salad + Entree + Dessert) as a part of Dine Out Vancouver this year but it seems they have extended their offering for the next little while. Inside is dimly lit giving a romantic vibe!We went as a group of 4 and this is what we tried:Starters: Ahi Tuna Tartare, Hamachi CarpaccioSushi Roll: Salmon Roll (sockeye salmon, cucumber, avocado), Crab Roll (fresh crab, avocado, cucumber)Soup: Lobster Bisque (with lobster chunks and garlic toast.. mmm)Entree: Surf & Turf (8oz NY Steak with choice of 3oz lobster tail or 2 scallops), Miso-Glazed Sable FishDessert: Chocolate Souffle with vanilla bean gelato and fresh berriesDrinks: Recommend the Shanghai Fizz (2oz - $15) - gin, lychee liqueur, pineapple juice, ginger ale. They also had a good variety of mocktails as well. The seafood in the starters/sushi rolls were good quality and fresh tasting. Portions were very very generous, and everything was tastier than I expected! The presentation was lovely. Even just the Surf & Turf itself would be charged for much more at similar establishments. I would definitely return for a special occasion/date night!“
“I love this trendy little Italian spot. The service is outstanding and the food is delicious. It's a bit pricey but dining out is at a premium anywhere you go now. I'll save this for my special occasion outings. I highly recommend La Forchetta!“
“The place itself is delicious, but when I went there, the staff were obsessed with wanting customers to give reviews in order to trade for their pizza, which is unallowed. But they were nice enough to let me and my four other friends split the price of one medium sized pizza“
“Great selection of lunch and to-go meals. Third time I’ve had the short rib sandwich with sun dried tomatoes and onions, and I have to say, it really hits the spot when you’re hungry. Great sandwiches and at a decent price considering that lunch meals cost about 15-20$ these days. I’ve also had the porchetta sandwich before and it was really delicious as well as the gnocchi in the counter. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quick snack in the Hastings area. The Short Rib sandwich is my recommendation.Vegetarian options: Many options“
“We ate here on a Friday night in April. The restaurant was busy and we had a 30 minute wait outside. The inside of the restaurant is neither ugly nor beautiful, just plain. The server was great -- prompt and very friendly.I had a custom Bellini to drink...very tasty. The food though, was amazing. And the servings were SO LARGE.! Certainly enough that a couple could share a main and still have leftovers to take home. I had a platter of risotto... very tasty. I'll be eating the leftovers for 3 more meals.“
“Claudio’s is a great local find. The food is outstanding. Best Caesar salad ever!!! We keep coming back for it. Staff very attentive, great service and HUGE portions. You can order a salad each and a main to share. But we always have desert !! Servers, chefs & Bartender anre exceptional, as well! So welcoming and good at what they do!“
“We moved to the Burnaby area a few months ago, it is the second time I have visited Baci restaurant and I can say that it is the best Italian food restaurant in Burnaby, my husband and I asked the waiter for some recommendations and she recommended Ossobuco and Pollo baci.As well as some suggestions for some cocktails that were many options, I tried some of them and they were all great. After enjoying the food we danced non-stop, as they offer live music with a variation of Latin music as well.IT WAS GREAT.“
“What a gem of a pasta place! Visited based on reviews here and we were not disappointed. Andrea was patient and friendly as we chose our dishes. We chose the spaghetti and meatballs dish and smoked salmon fettuccine. The pasta dishes were made with fresh and generous ingredients and tasted delicious! (If i could only have two stomachs.) We agreed we would definitely come back or pickup pasta dishes from this Basil Pasta Bar.“
“We ordered ahead and picked up the pizza, it was ready when we got there... nice and hot! Great service and when we got home and looked at the food, great presentation, fresh and was sooooo good!! I highly recommend this if you want good pizza... and the sesame seeds on the crust are “
“I‘ve been there the day before. Pizza Hawaii, Garlic bread and a house made peach lemonade. Good stuff. Tasty. Especially the lemonade. Not the best pizza I’ve ever eaten but so what.Very attentive and charming waitress! Her name was and hopefully still is Parisa. Thank you very much for the beautiful time there.“
“We have been here 2 times now after our kids play sports. They are very accommodating each time getting us in. Prices, quality and size are amazing. So many great options at very fair prices. Our server both times was so great with 0 mistakes on orders and biling. This will be a regular spot for me from now on.“
“I will rate at 5 stars as the place was clean, renovated, great service and the tables not as crowded. And the most important part the food was delicious. Pizza was great from the oven, freshly made salad and wine selection it's pretty good. Stayed a bit late and the crew was very polite to te greet us when we left.“
