“First time trying Zhengxin Chicken Steak and from the moment we walked in and during our visit, the staff is so friendly and welcoming!

The large sweet & spicy roasted garlic Supreme Topped Chicken Cutlet Steak, Fries, and Orleans Chicken Thigh Burger are so fresh, crispy, juicy, and delicious! There is a unique selection of sauces and seasonings you can add to customize your tasting experience. Our favourite is the Plum Cumin sauce. Complimentary monk fruit and black tea and water is self-serve to enjoy with your meal!

Everything was considered from the ordering process with the option to order from the screen kiosk or at the counter to the gloves to keep your hands clean! The meal was so filling and we had leftovers to take home! Remember to take some free mints on your way out!

The vibrant restaurant decor is super cute with the chicken mascot statue out front and the wall art inside! The storefront is so bright and eye-catching making it easy to spot! This is a popular spot as seen by the constant flow of customers coming for dine in or takeout. There is a membership rewards program for regulars with perks such as a free birthday burger!

“This place came highly recommended by family. It's in a little strip mall just east of the Royal Oak Centre (Walmart). We ordered the Korean Bulgogi pizza (our other fav is the Holy Honey Sweet Potato) and the Katsu Special Set (Alberta pork quality is much better) and asked for one change. Wanted an upgrade/ substitute to the Supreme over the default Japanese pork loin katsu. The menu only showed a surcharge of $1 for the difference under the katsu varieties and yet we paid this $4.40 for extra (Special) sauce. This wasn't explained very well by the server. Just tell us in advance if we can't make this change to your special set menu. Apparently, you were clear that the Curry Special set could only be Shrimp Tempura and nothing else.“

As I began to process the fumes of the chicken coming though my nostrils, i immediately fell in love. i savored the fried chicken until the last bite. “An online order for some reason sent it to this location instead of one closer to me. When I called, the girl explained that the Doordash drivers were refusing to deliver it because it was a 15 min drive away (instead of 8 min). The staffer organized another driver and made a fresh pizza to deliver it. Overall it took about 3 hours total from order to arrival, but the staffer did her best to manage the situation. “Came here on a weekday for lunch and it was packed. I thought it would be a little quieter on a weekday, but it was very busy.

We ended up sitting on the bar table by the window, but people that came after us had to line up outside for a bit.

Service was great. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Checked on us quite a few times, even when it was super busy. This place is not very big, so it fills up fast.

Food was very solid. We had the Mushroom Cream Rigatoni and the Bolognaise Rigatoni as well. The star of the show was the piece of bread that came with the pasta, it was absolutely delicious! A different kind of bread. Both executed very well. Dishes look small, but it was very filling. I thought the prices were a tad high, but for the quality, it was worth it.“

“May is a wonderfully bubbly personality. Don't be surprised if she remembers you; even if months have passed. She calls her regulars her boyfriends or girlfriends. And yes, the food is consistently delicious. Rice rolls and congee are simple ingredients that take a deft touch to produce greatness. Surprisingly, rice isn't light. I'm surprised to find myself stuffed and more than satisfied as I roll myself away.“

“I wouldnt give this location a bad review but we placed an order and they promised that we will get it 30 - 40 mins and after 55 mins we called and they said driver just took it and actually we are 2 mins away drive so I was on the phone with them for 5 mins and no driver called or showed up :(“

“My daughter wanted Church's Chicken and this was the nearest location.

We got the 3 piece with fries and drink. The chicken was crispy and juicy, just the way I remembered it growing up.

Sadly, the fries are no longer crinkle cut style, but the frozen coated ones like at Costco.

Still, for the chicken of my childhood, I wouldn't hesitate to come back.“
