Amazing once again, food was top notch, tried the Baked Brie, Fusilli alla Gozzona, and Mousse for the first time, all outstanding. Orto is a favourite of my family and for us has been the scene of pre-wedding events, birthdays, children's first experiences with pasta, and anniversaries. 11/10 would come again. The garden is the spot to see during the summer if available.
Cute Italian restaurant tucked just off the main street with a really nice hidden patio surrounded by gardens, greenery, and flowers. It was a relaxing place to sit and enjoy dinner. We ordered the bacon carbonara and the wild mushroom and goat cheese risotto from the regular menu, along with the seafood pasta special and the duck and pork lasagna special. What a magical evening at Orto! I went with a couple of my neighbors last night and honestly, it was one of those perfect nights out. Sitting in Brigitte’s garden, surrounded by all her flowers and vegetables, felt like being transported somewhere far away — it’s such a unique and beautiful setting tucked into North Vancouver.
