“I had some time to kill while in Richmond recently, and popped into this quaint little coffee shop. The barista was friendly and created a nice flat white. Price was reasonable. Place is a little tucked away. Seat isn’t the most comfortable and the shop is a bit compact.“
“Amazing coffee. It has become my favorite coffee three years ago. I had a hard time finding it, then discovered.... I can order it to my home!!! I highly recommend your coffee to whoever I can. It's hard to find good quality coffee. Thank you!!:)“
“Have been using Crown Coffee for over five years. They have been very accommodating regarding "testing" of various roasts to allow for differing tastes, the machines have been very dependable and service is good. Definitely would recommend them.“
“This review is regarding the coffee beans only, ordered online, as I (sadly) still have not been able to make it into the shop.Moving Coffee has consistent, excellent light roasts with interesting tasting notes, and they are one of my go-to roasters for beans. With regards to pourover filter coffee at home, their Prestige single origins from Columbia (Cerro Azul Geisha H, AJI COE #6, Hernandez Geisha W, Palestina) are wonderful light roasts and well worth the premium. I've also highly enjoyed Sweet Blossom under their Signature line roasts.Of course, one day I'll have to make it in for a tasting, as I always learn something when watching someone else pour a coffee for me!“
“Whenever the weather is nasty and I can’t for the life of me get anything done unless I leave my house, I come here to study!?recommend:☕️oat latte☕️mocha☕️chai latte☕️smoked salmon bagel sandwichTheir oat latte is my golden standard, so creamy and full bodied. Honestly I have dreams about this mocha, you gotta try it. But the something new I tried this time was the sandwich which was surprisingly divine ?? packed FULL of flavour, the filling to bagel ratio was amazing (and as I’m writing this I’m planning my next visit to that bagel!) ???study/work The space is huge and bright, with so many tables, outlets, and giant windows so you can maximize your vitamin D. I’ve tried studying at almost every possible cafe in Richmond (including bbt shops) and Rocanini checks ?? all ?? the ?? boxes ??Highly recommend......︵︵﹒ ︵︵﹒︵︵୨୧︵︵﹒︵︵ ﹒ ︵︵If cafe hopping is your thing, follow meand I’ll show you the best spots around Vancouver!?? @yvrcafescene on instagram︶︶﹒ ︶︶﹒︶︶୨୧︶︶﹒︶︶ ﹒ ︶︶“
“Honest to Pete Coffee Roasters is an absolute gem! The lattes here are nothing short of sublime; every sip is a testament to the full-flavored richness of the beans, perfectly complemented by the velvety steamed milk. I personally love adding just a touch of honey to mine for that extra hint of sweetness. The ambiance of the place is just as impressive as the coffee – it's intimate and brimming with character, complete with the owner's prized guitars adorning the walls. And if you're lucky, you might even be treated to a serenade by the man himself (along with his talented and beautiful partner and wife) as you enjoy your second cuppa. A truly unique and delightful experience!“
“La Cuisson Café offers a delightful experience for anyone seeking a cozy spot with an impressive menu. The ambiance is warm and inviting, reminiscent of a Parisian bistro with a modern twist. Their coffee is exceptional, boasting a rich and smooth flavor that coffee aficionados will appreciate. The highlight, however, is their patisserie selection. Each pastry is a work of art, perfectly balanced in flavor and texture. The staff is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall pleasant experience. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, the quality and atmosphere make it a worthwhile visit. Ideal for a leisurely brunch or a relaxing afternoon coffee, La Cuisson Café is a hidden gem that promises a memorable culinary journey.“
“I would only recommend this place for a serious coffee drinkers. I heard lots of good things about this coffee place, but I'm no pour over coffee drinker, so this wasn't really a place for me.I ordered blue matcha latte & honey oat latte, and blue match latte was too bland, especially the one with ice. Orange honey latte was pretty good. It was the best latte art I've seen so far though! The tables are weirdly shaped, so it's architecturally-satisfying, but instead gave up the comfort of the customers.“
“We went here for brunch on a Saturday and the place was very full. We didnt know how popular this place was so we came at peak hour. Unfortunately we had to stand outside to wait for our table due to limited standing space inside but once we went in things moved pretty quickly. One couple sitting nearby even got a gentle reminder from a server to order as soon as possible since they took too long.We got the shakshuka and the free range eggs they used tasted so much better than what we usually get at the supermarket. It’d be nicer if the eggs were less cooked but the dish overall was very pleasant. The interior is very instagrammable too. If you’re into eclectic decor with local vibes, this is the place for you. However, be aware of the time limit during the weekend.“
“It was a pleasant surprise finding this cafe in Richmond. Small cafe consisting 2 tables, but looked nicely decorated inside.I stopped by to get Brown sugar latte in 12oz ($6.25). Latte art was super adorable. My drink wasn’t too sweet, but fresh and frothy like ones from other coffee chains. I’ll give minus 1 star as drink wasn’t filled to the rim. I wish they filled it to the top instead of under pouring.“
