“Wow, what a gem. I’ve wanted to visit this place for awhile and I wasn’t disappointed. The owners were both lovely and very helpful. Lots of cool vegan options I hadn’t seen before. Tried my first oat milk latte with one of their stellar donuts, still thinking about it a week later!“

“I love this cafe but I wish you would train the baristas properly. About 50% of the time it's the best espresso I've had in my life, and 50% of the time it's bitter and has no body. I watch the baristas and realized that it's a problem with tamping. Some of them tamp properly, while others give it a single, light tamp (resulting in a watery, slightly bitter espresso.) If you just fix this issue it will always be the greatest espresso.“

“I'd go here several times a week if I lived closer because this place is a great little gem! Really great coffee, tea, and snacks but not priced higher than other similar places. Support local small businesses! Same two staff are always there and very friendly. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“Honestly one of the best coffee experiences I have ever had in Canada. They have some amazing coffee, better than Starbucks!!! If you want real coffee and you are a coffee lover come here. The coffee is smooth, baristas are friendly and good vibe. Working class people and you will be in heaven on earth with that first sip. I’m from USA and it’s hard to find something at this level in the states.“
“The vibe here is really nice. It's located in a small cozy place, and the store has a raw wood feel to it.
I've never had JJ Bean before, and I came in looking for a quick snack to enjoy by the beach.
The maple pecan cookie was scrumptious.
Soft cookie with hints of smoky maple and the crunch from the pecan in every bite are stunning. I would come here for the cookie alone.
Service was quick and friendly.
Again, I liked the atmosphere because of its natural feeling.
Overall, this location is a really neat coffee place that has potential.“

“I used to come here specifically for the atmosphere and comfort, but after replacing the couch and armchairs with hard stools, the place lost all its charm. It’s clear this was done to speed up table turnover, but it’s just uncomfortable now—you really don’t want to stay for very long. That said, no complaints about the quality: the coffee is excellent, the music is great, and the staff is extremely professional and friendly. Please bring back the comfortable seating, or it just won't be a place to sit down and enjoy anymore.“
