“Wow, what a gem. I’ve wanted to visit this place for awhile and I wasn’t disappointed. The owners were both lovely and very helpful. Lots of cool vegan options I hadn’t seen before. Tried my first oat milk latte with one of their stellar donuts, still thinking about it a week later!“

“I love this cafe but I wish you would train the baristas properly. About 50% of the time it's the best espresso I've had in my life, and 50% of the time it's bitter and has no body. I watch the baristas and realized that it's a problem with tamping. Some of them tamp properly, while others give it a single, light tamp (resulting in a watery, slightly bitter espresso.) If you just fix this issue it will always be the greatest espresso.“

“A quiet, lowkey spot to do some work. Cozy loft interior with outlets and free wifi! Ordered the chai latte, turkey spinach panini, and ham & cheese panini. Chai was creamy with a milder spice profile. My favourite panini was the turkey as the sauce was thicker/more prominent and savoury than the ham & cheese. The service was very kind! He brought our dishes up to the loft.“

“I went in today to grab an oatmeal jammer cookie for my son but when I got there they were sold out! The Barista who helped me out was kind enough to make me a fresh batch while I worked. And it just goes to show what exceptional customer service you can always count on when you go to JJ Bean. I was so appreciative of him going out of his way to make a fresh batch cookies for me and the usual barista also told me he was able to bake some for me while she was on her break. Definitely one of the kindest things anyone has done.“
“The vibe here is really nice. It's located in a small cozy place, and the store has a raw wood feel to it.
I've never had JJ Bean before, and I came in looking for a quick snack to enjoy by the beach.
The maple pecan cookie was scrumptious.
Soft cookie with hints of smoky maple and the crunch from the pecan in every bite are stunning. I would come here for the cookie alone.
Service was quick and friendly.
Again, I liked the atmosphere because of its natural feeling.

“Outpost is a great little coffee spot in Port Moody with a clean, modern vibe. The space feels bright and welcoming, and it’s a nice place to sit down, relax, or get a bit of work done. The coffee is well made and consistently good, and the pricing is reasonable for the quality you get.
Service was friendly and efficient, even when it was a bit busy. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that seating can feel limited during peak hours. Overall, a solid neighborhood café that I’d happily visit again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“I’ve been going to JJ bean for a long time now. The food is delicious- there are many different options based on your dietary needs. The espresso is incredible- so flavourful! However, this review is for Jordan! She’s such a thoughtful manager- I called this morning with an issue of my pre bought espresso. She not only recommended I come back to the store to get what I needed. She then proceeded to find a solution with my espresso maker so I didn’t need to come down and make the switch. Jordan is incredibly knowledgeable, professional and kind. Whether you're there for the food or the coffee or the people- it’s a great atmosphere!“

“I haven’t really had the “in store” coffee selections so can’t comment on those but the fresh beans they sell are spectacular and the only coffee I Drink! I’ve tried almost all of their blends with my fav being Mexico and second fav being Ethiopia. Great friendly staff too“
