“My wife phoned Saturday morning to see if they have any mocha cakes ready to purchase. The clerk said that they did not but they can make 1 and have it ready for 2:00pm. Perfect!!!! We arrived at the bakery and were treated very nicely and they showed us the cake and it was brilliant. Had the mocha cake after dinner on Easter Sunday and it tasted fantastic. We've passed by S+L Kitchen many times and finally decided to go there for lunch. It was a weekday, so I knew it wouldn't be very busy. It was very nice inside, a very retro look and clean. We were greeted right away and seated anywhere we liked since it wasn't busy. Our waitress came quickly and took our drink orders. After bringing our drinks we ordered our food. I had the salmon bowl, and my wife had the lobster bisque. My salmon bowl came with a nice size piece of salmon. It was very tasty, and the veggies were really good. My wife thought her bisque should have had a little more lobster in it. All in all the food and service was very good. Will certainly go there and try dinner.“

Unfortunately, even though the service was exceptional and food was great the ambience was ruined for someone placing a kid right beside our table and they were literally hanging over the bar peering down on us.
