“My fiance and I had our first date at Ulis 4 years ago. The food was delicious, the service was amazing and the view is beautiful. So when our 4th anniversary came around we decided to have our first date all over again. We went to Ulis again for some delicious food. When our server asked us what our plans for the day was my fiance told him that we had come to Ulis on our first date and that it was our anniversary. Our server was absolutely amazing (I wish I could remember his name, but unfortunately I can’t) he went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely experience. He even brought us out some compliantly cheesecake for us to celebrate our anniversary. Our server had no idea that my fiance had plans on popping me the question that night. I would like to thank everyone at Ulis from the bottom of my heart for helping make our special day that much more special, memorable and for the amazing service and yummy food. If you are looking for a restaurant that has absolutely amazing service, delicious food, and a beautiful view you need to dine at Ulis. Highly recommend!“

“Recommended by the French gang. Christophe is serious about his chocolates and viennoiseries. Never disappointed. Chocolate bike guy ain't got nothing on him 😂 You can also buy the croissant and pains au chocolat Frozen and make them at home. My god the proof on those is amazing“

“Our first visit to Natures Fare Markets and it most certainly will not be our last! To start, we were assisted in-store by a wonderful and helpful employee, Ceceul, she was so kind! We drove up from Bellingham WA., to purchase the line of Aidens Gluten Free products (they are not available in the USA), loaves, baguettes and English Muffins, with Ceceul’s help we found them all. The store itself is very well merchandised with a great selection of products not found in most of your “customary” grocery stores, this made the adventure in-store that much more enjoyable! We joined the Natures Fare Frequent Buyers Program but unfortunately our first purchase which was over $100 did jot qualify, that was the only downside to our visit. Hopefully corporate would consider revisiting this program to ensure the first purchase as well as any subsequent purchases all apply to the ongoing tally. Don’t offer a program and then immediately cause a negative experience, that is simply counterproductive in my mind. At this rate we will be visiting this location every other week for the foreseeable future.“

“Their service is good and so is their coffee. But I did barf up the mocha that I had yesterday. I ordered a mocha with three espresso shots. I deduced that something in it wasn't right and caused my stomach to react. But I've been to Wood's before and I usually enjoy their coffee and their shop's ambience. “Absolute 10/10 experience all around. The food is amazing! My husband had the waffles and fruit - SO flavourful and not too sweet. I had the egg and cheese sandwich - huge portion and, again, incredibly flavourful! The coffee is great, the service is wonderful - everyone was so kind and so fast - and it had a cozy, homey atmosphere. The pastries and other baked goods looked so good, I will definitely be coming back every time I'm in the area.“

“My wife and I don't often go out to eat because we are pretty frugal and she is an excellent chef anyway. We're often disappointed by dishes or prices or both. However the food at Great Blue Heron Grill was absolutely delicious, the staff was just the right level of attentive, and the atmosphere was just what we were looking for on our night out. “What just happened to the service of this place? Whoever is working needs some customer service training. My order came out wrong. The individual that took my order was not willing to correct my order saying that they were pressed for time. I would be understanding if the place was packed but it’s not. Even on the wrong order I was lacking the main part of the dish which was chicken. For what I just paid and for the unpleasantness situation. I’ll cut my loss and take my business elsewhere. Such a shame usually this place is great.“

The pizza itself was outstanding—perfectly baked crust with just the right balance of crispiness and chew, topped with fresh, high-quality ingredients. You can really taste the difference in the sauce and cheese, which felt rich and flavorful without being overwhelming. Every bite was satisfying.

What stood out just as much as the food was the service. Orders were prepared quickly, and the staff were attentive without being overbearing. It’s clear they take pride in what they do.

“Just popped in with friends after doing the 5k Foam Fest. It's a cute little restaurant. We had some fresh flowers on our table, and the women's washroom had fresh flowers too - cute touch. Our waitress was kind and we didn't wait too long for food. Our coffees were topped up a couple of times. Now I will say the cost of the food really doesn't match the portions and quality, in my opinion. I'm not saying it's bad, but this is definitely a place with a more pricey menu, which kind of surprised me honestly. It's not a place I'll go to often, but I could see myself coming back with friends.“

“Love Browns on the bypass in Langley. Seldom too busy to get seating but does fill up. Food is good and is the testing centre for new menu items. Staff here is particularly good with Vince at the bar leading the charge. If busy we usually sit at the bar for his service. He hustles, converses regardless of how busy it is, and always checks in on how we are doing.
We love the Cucumber salad but have noticed that it has not yet been rolled out to the other Browns we frequent. Its a winner so hope to see it elsewhere soon.“

Service seemed a bit slow, there wasn't anyone at the front to seat me when I went in. They could be understaffed. A bit of my toast was burnt, but it's nothing serious. Besides that, the food and service were amazing!

“Friendly staff and always accommodating our needs and orders. We purchased catering salads and wraps and they've accommodated dietary restrictions very well. The only thing would be nice is to have is some more protein ratio vs greens.

Vegetarian options: Salads, wraps, and modified orders.

Dietary restrictions: Vegan and vegetarian friendly options. Goddess dressings etc. Has a list of ingredients for what is dietary friendly.

“We came in for a few beers and bites and sat at the bar. As a former server bartender, I cannot over emphasize how wonderful the day bartender Jenna was. Her service was amazing! She is so funny and kind and knew how to work the lounge. Always anticipated our needs and kept her eye on every table as well as bar seat. It was pretty busy but she absolutely crushed it!! Just moved to this neighbour hood and will definitely be back, and hopefully have Jenna as our bartender again!“
