“Whenever I cross the Border for gas/ Costco. My very first stop is Woods Coffee. Cappuccino and frappe coffee over and above flavour as asked as it’s made with so much patience. And even if it’s not made as always , after request is made again with a smile again but not frustration or unhappy facial expressions. Thank you woods team you rock. Whenever I’m in USA forever. I am going to get hire in woods and work under lovely team and learn to make the best coffees and other drinks too. Thank you again. ???????“
“Flat iron steaks were very good, perfectly cooked. We agree with some of our friends, though, who think halibut fish and chips is a waste of very good fish. Halibut dries out a bit more than cod, so, while better tasting in other recipes, is no better than cod--but significantly more costly--when battered. This isn't a complaint about the quality of Blue Heron fish and chips; cod would simply be a better, certainly more traditional, choice for this preparation. The kitchen was very slow preparing our meals. We were with family we hadn't seen for a while, so this wasn't irritating. But it probably would have been under other circumstances.“
“Desi APPROVED !This is a very under rated place, but there are a lot of “if”s.While booking, reading google and yelp reviews, I was very skeptical, especially travelling with a toddler, but its a wow place. Before booking, make sure its less crowded, try to book over a weekday, as I can understand how frustrating it can be over a weekend. Forget it in summer, unless you have booked way in advance. Confirm before booking if there are any events and crowd count related to the event. If they say its crowded avoid it.I just booked for a day, but try to be here at least for 2-3 nights to take full advantage of what you got.Food : restaurants are a bit pricy but eatable. Pure vegetarians plan accordingly, not many options.Pros : great pool area, hot tub, cycling, views, activities, private movie theatre, ev charging (2 slots). Nothing skeptical or unsafe. Can come with kids and desi parents as well (I did not, you can).Cons : some things are weather dependent, like cycling and fire pits. Could have had more parking. Felt a but under staffed. Convenience store items could be improved.Rooms are really good, nothing like what other people reported. I posted a picture from my rooms view, just regular view room, I did not opt for some fancy room.Overall, I recommend this place.“
“The host was great, he was so welcoming and kind and seated us right away. Our server, Olivia, was very kind and sweet and attentive to our needs. The orange vinaigrette on their house salad was delicious! Got 2 bottles of it to bring home, for only $5 a bottle, cause it was just that good.their handmade burgers was so good! beats any burger I've ever had“
“I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised...the slices were truly fresh and tasty and very reasonably priced...had 3 slices; butter chicken, cheese, and Hawaiian...all very good and only $10 for all 3....highly recommend for cheaps eats in Brookswood!“
“The iced coffee caramel macchiato at $5 provides a taste reminiscent of popular offerings found at major coffee chains. Priced similarly to comparable options, it delivers a familiar and satisfying experience. The chocolate chip cupcake, priced at $4, boasts a classic flavor profile typical of its genre, and its substantial density ensures a filling indulgence for patrons. The cherry pie, priced at $5, presents a visually appealing treat that evokes imagery of quaint Disney-esque bakeries. Despite encountering difficulty with the paper around the crust, the pie's interior remained enjoyable. However, given a pre-existing feeling of fullness upon arrival, the cupcake failed to captivate as hoped.Aaron, characterized by his charming mustache twirl, exudes a hospitality reminiscent of cinematic depictions. His efficient service contributes to the establishment's welcoming ambiance.Despite its modest size, the café exudes a charming appeal. However, frequent phone interruptions towards closing hours detract slightly from the overall experience. For café and bakery ratings, this establishment, rated on a integer scale (with 0 representing Tim Hortons), earns a 2, reflecting its favorable impression.Although tempted to depart after settling the bill, the enjoyable service compelled a desire to linger and potentially encounter Aaron's hospitality once more.Aspirations for discovering the quintessential café experience, akin to the enchanting joy found in Disney settings, were almost fulfilled here. However, the quest for the perfect cupcake flavor remains elusive, particularly for someone not inherently drawn to cupcakes.A recommendation to adopt a retro ringtone reminiscent of the 1950s could enhance the café's ambiance and complement its nostalgic charm.Notably, the absence of plate clearance by staff was disappointing, as the anticipated Aaron's service added an element of anticipation to the dining experience.“
“Breads are totally awesome. Their use of wild yeast adds alot to their breads and not to mention the variety. Cookies & muffins are also awesome. A great place to buy your needs and go. All in all, 5 stars for their quality and service.Vegetarian options: Lots of breads, cookies, veg sandwich, biscotti coffee....if you have a sweet tooth, you're in heaven.“
“The pizza I had here (cheese, black olives, and green pepper) has to be one of the best pizzas I’ve ever ordered! The staff were really really kind, the store was really clean and the pizza was extremely delicious!! I would definitely recommend checking this pizza spot out!!“
“My wife phoned Saturday morning to see if they have any mocha cakes ready to purchase. The clerk said that they did not but they can make 1 and have it ready for 2:00pm. Perfect!!!! We arrived at the bakery and were treated very nicely and they showed us the cake and it was brilliant. Had the mocha cake after dinner on Easter Sunday and it tasted fantastic. Would definitely recommend Venito's Cakes!!!!!! Awesome job to the staff!!!!“
“The best scones I've ever had!Are you looking for local, organic, made-in-a-kitchen-by-your-neighbours, real food? You are in luck, this is the place!Like any small business that has good business practices, they need to charge enough to stay in business. And that makes good sense for what really matters, the people.Ok, I'm off to anger management before I write any more scathing reviews!“
“My wife and I have severe food intolerances and thanks to Marie, we can eat higher quality baked goods once again! I was warned that the cookies are expensive, but it's not bad, considering how good they are and what they are made of.Dietary restrictions: Wife has Celiac's disease and eats from here safely. I have a milk allergy and I think the whole place is vegan, so I can eat it too!“
“I recently visited this charming coffee shop and was delighted by the cozy ambiance. The rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee enveloped the space, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The baristas were friendly and knowledgeable, ensuring a delightful experience. Now, let's talk about their sandwiches – they were nothing short of amazing! The ingredients were fresh, and each bite was a symphony of flavors. From the perfectly toasted bread to the well-balanced fillings, every detail was thoughtfully crafted. The combination of a delicious sandwich and a well-crafted cup of coffee made for a perfect culinary duo. I can't wait to visit again and explore more of their menu. Highly recommended for coffee and sandwich enthusiasts!“
“Having turned into a self-proclaimed Cafe snob this place is great. They go to great lengths to have quality baked goods and an excellent latte. Staff was friendly and easy to speak to. Thank you!Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs. Accessible front door and bathroom.“
“It’s pretty standard Boston pizza, good comfort food (pizzas/burgers etc) and nice seating with a sports bar feel since they’ve got ice hockey playing on the TVs mounted all over the place. It could get crowded, so reserve in advance if you’re coming on a weekend night.“
“Employees all attentive and polite. Location clean and comfortable.Covered patio available but very hot.Food hot and delicious! But not enough food in the Dragon Bowl for $25. I am a 140 pound female body builder and I left the table hungry. Regular drinks are $4.50 (pop) The decor is in dark colors and it was quiet until noon, when it got busy.I still recommend.“
“I had the birthday pannekoek which was very yummy and surprisingly filling. The service was wonderful and all staff were friendly. I would recommend it!Parking: The whole complex doesn't have enough parking for the number of merchants at Grandview Corners.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible and the staff are very accommodating with moving tables as needed“
“We live in the Granview district of South Surrey, White Rock. There are lots of different restaurants so we like to try different places. We've passed by S+L Kitchen many times and finally decided to go there for lunch. It was a weekday, so I knew it wouldn't be very busy. It was very nice inside, a very retro look and clean. We were greeted right away and seated anywhere we liked since it wasn't busy. Our waitress came quickly and took our drink orders. After bringing our drinks we ordered our food. I had the salmon bowl, and my wife had the lobster bisque. My salmon bowl came with a nice size piece of salmon. It was very tasty, and the veggies were really good. My wife thought her bisque should have had a little more lobster in it. All in all the food and service was very good. Will certainly go there and try dinner.“
“Good food. Shrinkflation has made it to De Dutch. However it was tasty! Great service at this location! The children were loud! Not great! Will be back!Vegetarian options: Who cares!Dietary restrictions: If you're on a diet, eat something healthy...ie: water!Parking: Once full it is not easy to find spaces.Kid-friendliness: Unfortunately yes!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes. Only 1 or 2 ♿ spots available.“
“Rachel and team made an incredible Swiftie themed cake for my friend’s 30th birthday! We were blown away by the amount of detail and love put into this cake, and it helped make it an unforgettable celebration! I definitely recommend Happy Cakes for all those special occasions!“
“Had a fantastic lunch with work colleagues here. Food was excellent and the service from all the staff was great. Our server was polite and very attentive to our table. He made sure when taking our order to double check that he got everything correct before submitting the order. Also kept our drinks topped up and made sire we were happy with everything. Excellent experience all around!“
“My family and I recently relocated to Cloverdale and it has turned out to be a wonderful move. I love everything about this area of the city. It is like living in a small town in the middle of the city. One of the things I have really enjoyed is discovering all of these little businesses that are one of a kind. King Tut Donair is one of these places. Every time I go there I leave feeling good. Especially if I run into the owner or this amazing girl, Jaz. Not only are their prices cheaper than the surrounding stores they have the coolest merchandise. (Friday the 13th hockey mask mints lol ;)) Plus, they just brought back their amazing $5 donairs. Trust me, you don't need to go anywhere else.“
“Nacho grilled cheese $17.45 includes potatoes OR salad. Pretty skimpy. Oh and no salads anymore. $2 extra if you have only the fruit with it. $3.50 extra if you then add potatoes (fries). $3.50 extra for hollandaise (cuz no gravy avail.) $3.50 extra for the coffee. (seriously?) $17.45 meal becomes $30 when it's an actual fully-formed meal.“
“We ordered 2 half and half pizzas: a cup and char/mama mia and a Moro Orange/BBQ chicken. All 4 were amazing! The cup and char, I could eat those little pepperonis all day. They use a thiner, stiffer crust drizzled with Honey Butter and it is wonderful.I would highly recommend the cup cakes as well. They did a great job of cutting through the acid of the tomatoes sauce and were a great finisher on an awesome meal.100% we will be visiting again.“
“So glad they made it through the pandemic. I don’t eat here often. But I a w lady’s had great food when I do. Only gave 3 starts on atmosphere. It is in a food court. Lol. But the nice girl who served me was please r and polite ans the food was prepared fresh.“
“Noodlebox is a fantastic dining option for those craving delicious Asian-inspired cuisine. Their menu offers a wide variety of customizable dishes with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. The restaurant's modern and inviting ambiance, coupled with friendly staff, creates a pleasant dining experience. “Yummy meatloaf sandwich, grilled with soup. Also, the carrot cake with cream cheese icing was excellent? Haven’t been to Belle’s since it was a tiny bakery - thank goodness it’s still there. Still a great place to get together and catch up.Vegetarian options: I’m taking the frozen vegetarian lasagna home to try it out. I saw lots of options for vegetarians.“
“I am so impressed with the service. I had an issue with Uber eats and it was Ubers fault but the owner and staff made sure it was made right. Every time I go for my order pick up, I find the staff to be friendly and wings are my favourite. Definitely must try!!“
“Lasagna was very tasty! Not too oily or heavy feeling after. I added some chilie flakes, and also broiled it at home, because I like a darker/crispy melted cheese. Otherwise I was really really happy with the serving size and quality. It wasn't hardend or burnt. The garlic bread was a nice big size, yet still soft. Plenty of delicious garlic spread“
“I ordered the Spicy Nashville Chicken poutine and classic poutine and cheese sandwich to be delivered through Ubereats. It was really very tasty i ever had in Vancouver and they also provides halal chicken options it was great experience to having a delicious dinner. They also have many other dishes which are also very amazing I would definitely order again and also visit there for dinner.“
“The lamb shawarma platter is our favourite. Two kinds of salad (I like the Greek, she the tabbouleh!) Order extra humus on the side and make sure to get the plate with hot sauce! Nice portions, too! (I have to confess, I'm a regular.)North-east corner of King George and 24th Ave.“
“Great place and the food is delicious! Staff is really friendly and welcoming ? They were really accommodating too! I totally recommend this location ? My favorite thing on the menu is the plant based chicken sandwich! I love it and their fries are amazing too. They also let me in with my baby Prices were great too ✌?Thanks so much for everything!!!“
“What a great location! We rolled in with a sports team (24 people) unannounced, and they staff were really accommodating. The manager informed us the service may be slow, however they knocked it out of the park. We were all served within 20mins, and the waitress was so friendly!Parking: Lot's of parking, even for big busses.“

The generous portions and friendly service make it a top choice for pizza lovers looking for quality and taste. Definitely a must-try for anyone craving a satisfying slice!"“
“Just don’t try to do take out. My family really likes the pizza that is made at Pizza Pizza, but whenever I phone in, I speak to agents, that don’t speak or understand English very well. I just give up. Service when I walk in is great and staff are courteous and polite. I really would like to be able to phone in though to have my pizza ready to pick up when I get there.“
“Always so pleased to go into this Natures Fare! Especially the ladies that work in the supplement section, they are just so lovely, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! Even though the prices of produce are much more expensive here, the quality of most things you get are top quality - especially if you are GF/DF. I swear I live at this store... See you again tomorrow!“
“We got excellent service from Jasmine yesterday night. She cleaned up the table we wanted to sit at and was very prompt with serving. She was very friendly and we loved her hospitality. Because of her service, we would love to go there again.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10Tasty food, quick service and good atmosphere...I was missing vegetarian food in Vancouver and specifically traveled 1.5 hours to visit in-person to try out their food...the server was lovely to talk to and helped me pick out the best dishes that they had...I forgot to click pictures as the food was too tempting and fragrance was too good and appealing. The lady at the front desk was lovely and did talk to me, asking my experience and overall she had a caring demeanor.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!WILL VISIT AGAIN SOON!“
