I deduced that something in it wasn't right and caused my stomach to react. But I've been to Wood's before and I usually enjoy their coffee and their shop's ambience. “My wife and I don't often go out to eat because we are pretty frugal and she is an excellent chef anyway. We're often disappointed by dishes or prices or both. However the food at Great Blue Heron Grill was absolutely delicious, the staff was just the right level of attentive, and the atmosphere was just what we were looking for on our night out. “My fiance and I had our first date at Ulis 4 years ago. The food was delicious, the service was amazing and the view is beautiful. So when our 4th anniversary came around we decided to have our first date all over again. We went to Ulis again for some delicious food. When our server asked us what our plans for the day was my fiance told him that we had come to Ulis on our first date and that it was our anniversary. Our server was absolutely amazing (I wish I could remember his name, but unfortunately I can’t) he went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely experience. He even brought us out some compliantly cheesecake for us to celebrate our anniversary. Our server had no idea that my fiance had plans on popping me the question that night. I would like to thank everyone at Ulis from the bottom of my heart for helping make our special day that much more special, memorable and for the amazing service and yummy food. If you are looking for a restaurant that has absolutely amazing service, delicious food, and a beautiful view you need to dine at Ulis. Highly recommend!“

“Absolute 10/10 experience all around. The food is amazing! My husband had the waffles and fruit - SO flavourful and not too sweet. I had the egg and cheese sandwich - huge portion and, again, incredibly flavourful! The coffee is great, the service is wonderful - everyone was so kind and so fast - and it had a cozy, homey atmosphere. The pastries and other baked goods looked so good, I will definitely be coming back every time I'm in the area.“

“What just happened to the service of this place? Whoever is working needs some customer service training. My order came out wrong. The individual that took my order was not willing to correct my order saying that they were pressed for time. I would be understanding if the place was packed but it’s not. Even on the wrong order I was lacking the main part of the dish which was chicken. For what I just paid and for the unpleasantness situation. I’ll cut my loss and take my business elsewhere. Such a shame usually this place is great.“

I usually just get a coffee, but the food looks good too.

I walked in to the shop & was able to order them & have them decorated so quickly! The cupcakes were so delicious you wouldn’t know they were gf/df! Highly recommend.“

“I walked into White Rock Natures Fare this morning at opening. Had the Best experience ever. First off, I was buying some wellness products on sale day. Tia, at the cosmetic counter, was outstanding with her knowledge, honesty, and charm. I did not feel pressured in any way,. Tia!!!! Your the Best. :). then i was looking at some out door plants, and Stephan the produce manager took it upon himself, to bring more to show me from the back. At the check out, Dan the manager was as well so friendly and welcoming. Thank you team @ Natures Fare White Rock. I can definitely call this my New favourite store to shop.“

“Great place for a milestone trip! Excellent food, wide variety for both picky and adventurous eaters. Waiter was super - he was pleasant, not overly-checking-in, but not intrusive ether. Didn't catch his name - he reminded me of an 1980's Val Kilmer with a silver tooth or two - he went above and beyond to find a dish that worked for our table (with some dietary restrictions). Another staff female member helped us find The Olympics on TV. Thanks for a great night! First time in Canada for a Taekwondo tournament with my teen (hi from Oregon!). PS had to include a pic of the Key Lime Pie - even though the to-go box it NO justice - it was SO GOOD!“

“We order from Pizza Pizza quite regularly and generally enjoy the food and service. I just wanted to share a feedback regarding online orders.
We have noticed that the pizza boxes are usually not sealed when we receive our orders. It would feel more appropriate and reassuring if a little extra care were taken to seal the box, especially for online or delivery orders. This adds to a sense of hygiene, professionalism, and customer care.

Sealing the box would also give customers greater confidence that the order has been handled carefully from the store to delivery. It may seem like a small detail, but it makes a positive difference in the overall experience.“

“We came in for a few beers and bites and sat at the bar. As a former server bartender, I cannot over emphasize how wonderful the day bartender Jenna was. Her service was amazing! She is so funny and kind and knew how to work the lounge. Always anticipated our needs and kept her eye on every table as well as bar seat. It was pretty busy but she absolutely crushed it!! Just moved to this neighbour hood and will definitely be back, and hopefully have Jenna as our bartender again!“

“Nacho grilled cheese $17.45 includes potatoes OR salad. Pretty skimpy. Oh and no salads anymore. $2 extra if you have only the fruit with it. $3.50 extra if you then add potatoes (fries). $3.50 extra for hollandaise (cuz no gravy avail.) $3.50 extra for the coffee. (seriously?) $17.45 meal becomes $30 when it's an actual fully-formed meal.“
