I deduced that something in it wasn't right and caused my stomach to react. But I've been to Wood's before and I usually enjoy their coffee and their shop's ambience. “My wife and I don't often go out to eat because we are pretty frugal and she is an excellent chef anyway. We're often disappointed by dishes or prices or both. However the food at Great Blue Heron Grill was absolutely delicious, the staff was just the right level of attentive, and the atmosphere was just what we were looking for on our night out. “My fiance and I had our first date at Ulis 4 years ago. The food was delicious, the service was amazing and the view is beautiful. So when our 4th anniversary came around we decided to have our first date all over again. We went to Ulis again for some delicious food. When our server asked us what our plans for the day was my fiance told him that we had come to Ulis on our first date and that it was our anniversary. Our server was absolutely amazing (I wish I could remember his name, but unfortunately I can’t) he went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely experience. He even brought us out some compliantly cheesecake for us to celebrate our anniversary. Our server had no idea that my fiance had plans on popping me the question that night. I would like to thank everyone at Ulis from the bottom of my heart for helping make our special day that much more special, memorable and for the amazing service and yummy food. If you are looking for a restaurant that has absolutely amazing service, delicious food, and a beautiful view you need to dine at Ulis. Highly recommend!“

“Absolute 10/10 experience all around. The food is amazing! My husband had the waffles and fruit - SO flavourful and not too sweet. I had the egg and cheese sandwich - huge portion and, again, incredibly flavourful! The coffee is great, the service is wonderful - everyone was so kind and so fast - and it had a cozy, homey atmosphere. The pastries and other baked goods looked so good, I will definitely be coming back every time I'm in the area.“

“Funky place, good food and great staff“

“What just happened to the service of this place? Whoever is working needs some customer service training. My order came out wrong. The individual that took my order was not willing to correct my order saying that they were pressed for time. I would be understanding if the place was packed but it’s not. Even on the wrong order I was lacking the main part of the dish which was chicken. For what I just paid and for the unpleasantness situation. I’ll cut my loss and take my business elsewhere. Such a shame usually this place is great.“

“Great place to study. Not too busy. I love the counters around the window which can be used as a standing desk to study for hours.
I usually just get a coffee, but the food looks good too.
There is one large table where I sometimes seen groups gather.“

The cookies and cupcakes were a huge hit with our members and attendees. In fact, the cookies became an instant favourite and disappeared almost immediately, with many people returning for seconds — only to find there were none left! “Just popped in with friends after doing the 5k Foam Fest. It's a cute little restaurant. We had some fresh flowers on our table, and the women's washroom had fresh flowers too - cute touch. Our waitress was kind and we didn't wait too long for food. Our coffees were topped up a couple of times. Now I will say the cost of the food really doesn't match the portions and quality, in my opinion. I'm not saying it's bad, but this is definitely a place with a more pricey menu, which kind of surprised me honestly. It's not a place I'll go to often, but I could see myself coming back with friends.“

“Happy Cakes makes the BEST cupcakes in the whole universe. The people are incredibly kind and greet you with the most warming smiles, instantly melting away your worries! I used to be someone who despises frosting, but this place converted me. The cupcakes are SO moist and have the perfect texture and level of sweetness. I ordered some snacks and cookies.snacks were very tasty and cookies were too good. so I also packed for my family. my family also liked it's taste. after that day I often visit venetos cakes bakery. best bakery in surrey. the new owner is very friendly and staff is also very good. comfortable environment. my recommemdation goes to this bakery. must visit for everything.“

“Our first visit to Natures Fare Markets and it most certainly will not be our last! To start, we were assisted in-store by a wonderful and helpful employee, Ceceul, she was so kind! We drove up from Bellingham WA., to purchase the line of Aidens Gluten Free products (they are not available in the USA), loaves, baguettes and English Muffins, with Ceceul’s help we found them all. The store itself is very well merchandised with a great selection of products not found in most of your “customary” grocery stores, this made the adventure in-store that much more enjoyable! We joined the Natures Fare Frequent Buyers Program but unfortunately our first purchase which was over $100 did jot qualify, that was the only downside to our visit. Hopefully corporate would consider revisiting this program to ensure the first purchase as well as any subsequent purchases all apply to the ongoing tally. Don’t offer a program and then immediately cause a negative experience, that is simply counterproductive in my mind. At this rate we will be visiting this location every other week for the foreseeable future.“

“Just bought a Kia Sedona from the team at Milestone Motors and couldn't be happier. The entire process was fast, smooth, and completely stress-free. No pressure tactics at all, just honest and professional service from start to finish. The van was handed over spotless and in excellent condition. “Nacho grilled cheese $17.45 includes potatoes OR salad. Pretty skimpy. Oh and no salads anymore. $2 extra if you have only the fruit with it. $3.50 extra if you then add potatoes (fries). $3.50 extra for hollandaise (cuz no gravy avail.) $3.50 extra for the coffee. (seriously?) $17.45 meal becomes $30 when it's an actual fully-formed meal.“

“Went to Cactus Club for wine Tuesday but they had a sign on their door that they were closed due to their network being down. We went to Milestones and were happily received and served. Milestones had half price wine Tuesday and the food selection was varied and the seafood cob salad and lunch soup, salad and sandwich was also excellent. Milestones is now top choice for brunch, lunch or dinner.
Their outdoor patio although facing the parking lot was quieter than the Cactus Clubs freeway noise.“

“We came in for a few beers and bites and sat at the bar. As a former server bartender, I cannot over emphasize how wonderful the day bartender Jenna was. Her service was amazing! She is so funny and kind and knew how to work the lounge. Always anticipated our needs and kept her eye on every table as well as bar seat. It was pretty busy but she absolutely crushed it!! Just moved to this neighbour hood and will definitely be back, and hopefully have Jenna as our bartender again!“

The new owner was incredibly kind and professional — he even took the time to apologize for the poor experience I had at a different location before, which really stood out to me. That level of care and accountability is rare.
