“Discovered Puerto Mexico last week and I’ve already been twice! Their bean tacos are soooooo good and cheap! I got 4 tacos for $16 I think. Best authentic tacos in Vancouver hands down. “The food really impressed at Zapoteca. The Breakfast Burrito was my favourite while the Tacos De Pescado (fish tacos) was a kid favourite for those that like a bit of spice. I also quite enjoyed a few of their house made Tortilla chips from their deconstructed Nachos on the kids menu.

Last but not least, drinks were also a hit.“

“The meals are fine , the servers are nice and kind. I ordered enchiladas but it was very small portion was not enough for me and it was 22$. That’s why i needed to order another dish and total bill was like 60$ ish with tea & 2nd dish. I found this place is overpriced.“

“I've been here in Vancouver for 10 months, and since I arrived from Mexico I've missed "carnitas" and I finally found the best ones, here at arturos 2 go fraserview, they taste like Mexico.“

“A rare 5/5 on all thing. I've been here a few times over the last couple of years, and I have to say this place is on point with service, flavours are STELLAR (my Mexican wife demands we return for the authentic flavours), presentation is creative, beautiful, and atmosphere is very nice. Not really a classic Mexican atmosphere, but more like a sophisticated western restaurant/pub.

Enchiladas with poblano salsa was outrageously delicious. Molcajetes with beef and with seafood were stellar and filling! Next time I'm going to have lighter meals do I have room for dessert!

100% chance we will return.

“Great addition to the Granville strip. We enjoyed our time here. Recommend the Molcajete Mexicano and the Del Trompo a tu Trompa. Desserts including the churro were all fabulous. Portions were pretty decent and we were full and still had a big take away box. The server was such a sweetheart and really attentive. Will definitely be back and bring friends once covid is over.“

“I’ve been hesitant to review this place for a while, sometimes I love it other times it’s feels like a rip off. Food is decent quality, perhaps a little bland (chicken especially) but I appreciate that it isn’t loaded up with fats and salt.

I stopped ordering the burritos after getting a small burrito, the price it just too high to gamble with leaving less than full.

Inconsistent portions continues to be a problem with the tamale plates, but at least they are reasonably priced. I’ve only had one staffer that serves a fair portion, while another has been consistently small. After witnessing him scoop two scoops of rice then “accidentally” dump some back, I walked out.

I don’t know how many nickels he’s saving, but if they are going to serve meager portions, I’d appreciate the option of a super size.“
