Had a great time visiting this little gem. Had a horchata, carnitas burrito, traditional pupusas, and nachos which were all very good! Lots of cheese on the nachos and in the burrito, great hot sauce too! Great rice & beans with the burrito
Very warm and homey feeling food. Beans reminds me of my abuela's, I didn't realize how much I missed the flavor and how hard it is to find frijoles done this way until eating here. Entree dishes are filled to the brim, you get your money's worth. Delicious tacos and enchiladas! We also love the chicken tamales. Every time we order, we are always satisfied with what we get. Thank you El Caracol cafe!

I was so happy to find a place for pupusas in Vancouver having not eaten them in eight months This small cafe has delicious pupusas with a few flavours. I got the chicharrón y queso (pork and cheese) but next time I want to try the loroco. The tamarindo drink was very refreshing too. The ration of three is really filling especially with the curtido. Nice staff as well. They are bigger than pupusas I’ve had before so I was pleasantly surprised. I’ll come back next time...read full review
