“Stumbled in last Saturday after a long morning of exploring Gastown and the horchata alone was worth stopping for. The space is small but well put-together, with hand-painted tiles behind the counter that give it a genuinely lived-in feel rather than the usual faux-rustic aesthetic you see in so many spots trying too hard. Staff were attentive without hovering, which as someone who eats out constantly I appreciate more than most people realize. If you're in the neighborhood and need a break that doesn't feel like a tourist trap, this is your place.“

“The heat didn't seem to be working well in the restaurant but the staff were friendly and the meal was quite good! My mom had some excellent tortilla soup, the guacamole is homemade, I had a rather hefty beef quesadilla that was very good, and my dad had enchiladas that he said were okay.
I think I'll have to come back to try something else!“
