Absolutely amazing! Everything we had was delicious. The michelada was perfect, the guacamole and chips were so fresh and flavorful, and the fried tilapia was incredible. Honestly, some of the best food we’ve had!
The service was also 10/10. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and incredibly fast. We were really impressed with both the food and the experience. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to!

We used to live in burnaby and would come often, when we moved, my children still ask me to come to this restaurant. They love nachos, burritos, flautas is a must.

Went here for lunch, and I feel as though I've discovered a true hidden gem of Vancouver. The most moist yet crispy carnitas I've ever had. And the chocoflan was a perfect way to finish the meal.
I am only sad that my lunch break ended so soon and I couldn't try more. I will be back.

The rice and beans are well seasoned, and the horchata is also great. Guests can enjoy their margaritas, which are excellent and not too sweet, along with desserts like Flan Napolitano and Chocoflan. The food feels like home-cooked meals, but some items may be under seasoned. Vallarta's is a family-owned institution in Vancouver's Renfrew area, having been a staple for decades. Overall, it is a great spot for authentic Mexican food, with lovely people and a decent dining experience that brings back memories of dining in Mexico.
