oh, my new favorite place while in Vancouver. LOVE everything about this place!
The food today, was absolutely wonderful, healthy Mexican was greatly delivered and to her telling me she is a dietition, oh no kidding healthy, food was delicious in everyway, fresh, flavourful, colorful and made some great recommendation, the Pork Pastor, and two Chicken tacos, absolutely wonderful, delicious, it will be one of the Vancouver foodstops. A good ending to a beautiful day before the rain.
excellent service, quality and delicious food. I highly recommend it.

Machete Ancestral Mexican Food offers a menu that is celiac friendly with great vegan options, for a good price and a big portion. Service is friendly, a lil slow, but delicious food takes a lil time. Had the machete with chorizo, black corn tortillas just like in Guatemala. The pozol and two machetes were so delicious. Enmoladas were super fresh and flavourful, and Pozol to drink is highly recommended. Machete de Ray and Machete huit la coche, with Horchata and Hot chocolate were perfect. The special music, the vibe, the people, everything was perfect. Food was a little on the expensive side, but not over the top. Will definitely return for the food and ambiance.
