“I was hesitant to eat Mexican food in Vancouver, since I live in Arizona! And I needed a break! I have to admit the food was great and better than what I get in AZ. We got tacos.
The place was rather cold and didn’t help to take refuge from cold there. I asked for hot water, which wasn’t hot enough. Otherwise loved the food!“

“I absolutely love Cervecería Astilleros. My favorite is the Grapefruit Lager, it tastes like a Paloma in beer form and it is seriously delicious. Every time I go, I am surprised because there are always new rotating seasonal beers to try. One of my favorites was the Piña Colada beer, truly a treat. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. And you cannot leave without trying the OG Salted Lime Lager, wow. As a Mexican, the first sip took me straight to a beach in Mexico 😍❤️“

“I've come here a few times to eat-in and for take-out. The service is always fast & staff are efficient & friendly! There's also tables and a washroom (which is also well-maintained). The portions & price are good value as I sometimes even spilt a burrito into 2 meals. It's my current go-to place to satisfy my burrito cravings & I'd recommend it!“

“A rare 5/5 on all thing. I've been here a few times over the last couple of years, and I have to say this place is on point with service, flavours are STELLAR (my Mexican wife demands we return for the authentic flavours), presentation is creative, beautiful, and atmosphere is very nice. Not really a classic Mexican atmosphere, but more like a sophisticated western restaurant/pub.

Enchiladas with poblano salsa was outrageously delicious. Molcajetes with beef and with seafood were stellar and filling! Next time I'm going to have lighter meals do I have room for dessert!

100% chance we will return.
100% recommended for a date night.

“Great addition to the Granville strip. We enjoyed our time here. Recommend the Molcajete Mexicano and the Del Trompo a tu Trompa. Desserts including the churro were all fabulous. Portions were pretty decent and we were full and still had a big take away box. The server was such a sweetheart and really attentive. Will definitely be back and bring friends once covid is over.“
