“This is exceptional sushi, found in few places, including Vancouver. The Chicken Karage was juicy, meaty, crispy and golden. The Hokkigai Nigiri was tender, sweet and delicately tasted of the ocean, like a kiss from the sea. It has the very best Negitoro roll we have ever eaten. We felt we got our money’s worth and more. A ‘must stop n dine’ if you are visiting g the Sunshine Coast.“
“It’s unfortunate to read so many mediocre reviews.I would agree with others the storefront is very small but that didn’t change the ability to spend a few minutes in reviewing what was available. Our service was good. The staff said hello, and had a couple recommendations to what was good in the bakery. The bar with shortbread, caramel and milk chocolate was to die for. I would drive the 40 minutes just to eat that again. The date and apple bar was good but I would suggest forgoing the apple. Then it would be delicious. It was put together well, and definitely fresh.I would recommend this bakery to anyone!“
“I love Panago pizza, they are one of the only pizza places that make INTERESTING vegetarian options. They have so many options in general! I am addicted to the veggie korma.I've noticed they've stepped up their game lately! Fresh, fast, friendly service, and they usually have all the ingredients in stock now :)“
“Great pizza! We moved to the Coast in 2019 from the NY area. I'm from Montreal so good pizza was part of life. We've tried so many pizzas on the Coast, in North Vancouver and Vancouver and we've been consistently disappointed, Pizza is not on Wheatberries' menu but Gino, the owner, showed me a pizza he had made on special request. So I specially requested... We are loving it. The garlic, onions, peppers and mushrooms were all sautéed to perfection. When we ask for sautéed mushrooms anywhere else they look at me like I'm from Pluto. Dry mushrooms taste like cardboard. Gino apologized that he doesn't have a pizza oven but the crust was great anyway. The tomato sauce is homemade and way better than the red substance on the other pizzas. Well...we are already reserving for Super Bowl Sunday but we'll be requesting a lot before then. PS I am upgrading my previous review. The coffee has been consistently good lately and the music has improved: classic rock, jazz...the old Lawrence Welklike music is long gone.“
“Cute, cozy and so delicious! Enjoyed a quick dinner here. Pulled Pork tacos were wonderful and jam packed with goodness. Bootine (poutine with gnocci, mushroom, cheese curds and a delicious demiglaze) were a creative take which did not disappoint. Definitely check it out!“
“Yes yes yes! This place is great. Lots of awesome local artists and things to see here and around the cafe. Definitely worth visiting. Food and staff are awesome.Highly recommend if in Roberts Creek, whether you're local or a tourist the Gumboot is a must visit. The small town community feel is at the core of Roberts Creek. ??“
“The Pink House Bistro came highly recommended. I saw suggestions to book a reservation online due to its popularity with locals and vistors. Our server provided us some great recommendations for our meal and cocktails. Both our cocktails & food were presented beautifully and were absolutely delicious - my wife and I finished our shared mezze plate (hummus & cauliflower divine) fried chicken (crispy, juicy) lamb ribs (fell off the bone) in minutes! Thank you Lisa for your amazing service and hospitality - we will certainly be returning again.“
