Very tasty anddelicious food!
The service here is excellent, the staff are very friendly and welcoming! While the main dishes like Sundubu Jjigae, Japchae, and Squid Fritters were fairly average in flavor, the complimentary refillable side dishes (banchan) were absolutely delicious and easily the highlight of the meal. It's a solid, convenient local spot if you're craving Korean food in the neighborhood, though not necessarily a destination spot to travel far for. Overall a pleasant experience!

So Hyang Korean Cuisine is a humble restaurant offering a variety of Korean dishes. Their bibimbap, especially the hot stone version, is hearty and plentiful, with big portions and yummy flavors. The beef ox soup is a comforting choice, featuring tender beef slices. The combination dish, including bulgogi and short ribs, is also a highlight. Side dishes such as seaweed, sprouts, Kim Chee cabbage, and fish cakes are notable, along with the purple rice. The Mandoo (deep fried pork dumplings) is praised for its crunchy texture and delicious filling. The Yook Gae Jan, a spicy beef stew, is served hot with a nice spice level that complements the dish well. The restaurant atmosphere may feel well used but the staff is courteous, quick, and friendly, making So Hyang a great choice for Korean cuisine lovers and a recommended spot for locals.
