I first went to Pidgin when it first opened. I got there again last night and regret not getting back there sooner! The Asian-French flavours were beyond fantastic. We covered a slew of dishes on the a la carte menu and everything was so mouth-watering that we wanted to order everything all over again (except we were so full). The tasting menu at PiDGiN was honestly one of the best meals I've ever had. The cappalletti was the standout for me and was probably the best bite I can remember having. The salmon was also excellent, as were the sweat breads. Try to get the chef's table for a view of the kitchen, and come early for happy hour and try some of the things that aren't on the tasting menu like the Kimchi Croquettes and the chicarron (which was the lightest and best seasoned I've ever had).
Excellent menu. A bit of an adventure for people looking for standard fare or confort food, but the food itself was wonderful. Worth the risk to try something new.
