“We always have such a wonderful experience at Le Crocodile, and this visit reminded us exactly why we love it so much.

Their menu is incredible, everything we tried was so thoughtfully prepared and full of flavour. The fish was amazing, and the escargots are an absolute must! And you cannot leave without getting the profiteroles for dessert… they were out of this world.

“Three of us recently tried the $38 prix fixe menu at Lavidas in Kits. What great value!

We all started with the French onion soup, though the prawn and scallop ceviche and mango salad were tempting alternatives. The soup didn't disappoint, having plenty of cheese and served piping hot. Beware not to scorch your mouth!

We tried one each of the mains - duck confit, braised beef and seafood linguine. Duck was good but the accompanying scalloped potatoes were said to be dry. Wife liked the linguine and had leftovers for lunch the next day. Actually, portion size overall was generous. The beef was the best dish of the night. Meat was melt in your mouth tender, gravy delicious, vegetables cooked a nice al dente and a bonus, an unexpected Yorkshire pudding

Dessert was chocolate creme brulee and a strawberry rhubarb crumble with vanilla ice cream. A nice finish to a very good meal.

Service was friendly and welcoming. Restaurant has a very laid back vibe.“

“Nice server he was actually french which is what i liked about this restaurant, (that it was actually french). The atmosphere was great with a pianist playing nice music. The food was great i had the bœif bourguinon and the tartare to start everything was wonderful and left with a full stomach!“

“Service and atmosphere were excellent.

The food itself is just alright. Definitely novel as it is a fusion restaurant but when you’re paying this much for food, you expect to be impressed. Wouldn’t come back for the food alone.

I’ll leave specifics out in the interest of not boring people but if you’re specifically interested in food this place can be skipped. Definitely good food but not justifiable in comparison to other restaurants in Metro Vancouver“

“Love this restaurant! Calamari was excellent. Had the steak frites, the steak was perfectly cooked, fries were so good and the salad was very fresh with a perfect vinaigrette. My only complaint was that the peppercorn sauce was a little too salty. Looking forward to going to back - they have an excellent menu and the service was great.“

“This was truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had, the owner was hilarious and made fantastic jokes throughout the meal, he served us food and told stories that were fantastic. The environment is very wholesome and pure and every employee is rushing and working extremely hard to serve amazing food that is not only the best crepes I’ve ever had but at a really reasonable price. If you’re in the area and have an appetite for even a snack, you definitely should go here for a drinks dm crepe“

“Argo Burger topped with bacon, cheese, fried onions and egg is served alongside a mound of fries. Delicious, whether eaten hot or cold. Fried chicken burger is one of the best in town. Fish and chips came with equal amounts of both, which translates into lots. Creamy Chicken chili con queso and heaping plateful of Spicy lamb on their respective beds of rice were stick-to-your-bones good. Then there's the home-baked pie and the OMG butter tart! “We had a wonderful dining experience at Croquette Brasserie. Our waiter was both helpful and charming, adding a personal touch to the evening. We started with the moules-frites, sharing the mussels and fries as an appetizer. The dish was outstanding—perfectly cooked mussels paired with crisp, golden fries. For our main course, we chose pasta sourced from their sister restaurant, Fiore Famiglia, which happens to be our long-time favorite neighborhood Italian spot. As expected, the pasta was impeccable, showcasing the quality and flavors we’ve come to love. A special highlight was the crème brûlée, torched at our table by the waiter. Watching the caramelized sugar form into a crackling, golden crust was such a treat, and the result was as delicious as it was entertaining. The ambiance was made even better by live music from "Van Django," an incredible violin and guitar duo. Their lively and romantic performance elevated the evening to something truly magical. “Great place to learn or practice your French! I just started an intermediate course there and so far it's great. The teacher is very knowledgable, they have a library where you can pick some books to take home, they also organize different activities so people can get together and practice. The staff is super nice and helpful. I recommend you check out this place if you're looking for a francophone community in Vancouver ?“

Fabrice and his wife take excellent care to offer their clients the highest quality breads, croissants and sandwiches in the neighborhood. It's like your're back in France for a brief escape. We come out from Surrey to pick up fresh croissants, Chocolatines, Ham & Cheese croissants and and Epiphany must... A Galette Des Rois.“

“The decoration is 5 stars the food is ok they have afew options not much.i was there for iftra with my family once the food finished then its done and you have to wait for at least 30 mins till the refill it . We didn’t get chance to try the dessert because there is a small portion like 10 small serving of fermi once it finished they didn’t replace so you have to be careful with dessert. Unless if you want to pay extra for bakery and buy to eat with your tea . Also it was Ramadan every thing is limited ,tea, manto, rice over all for afghans buffet is not bad . It’s was much better if they cook enough and have afew servers“
