“My favorite place to go for a lunch. Fresh and healthy food. Unfortunately, spanakopita is not available sometimes. They also use plastic disposable cutlery which I would gladly replace with something more eco-friendly.

“Finally had the chance to try this highly rated Greek restaurant and it’s definitely worth the hype! Ordered the Mixed Grill platter and everything was so flavourful. Definitely the best Greek food I’ve had in Vancouver. SO FREAKIN GOOD. Went on a Friday around lunch time so only waited for about 10 minutes for a table. Friendly staff, however the waitresses could’ve been a little bit more attentive. Had to ask a couple of times to get our bill but other than that very pleasant experience, highly recommend!“

“We phoned yesterday, made a reservation for a birthday dinner today at 5:30 PM, confirmed verbally on the phone. We showed up at 5:30 PM and they turned us away, saying they had no reservation. We showed them the phone number that we phoned yesterday to make the reservation. The phone number was on our phone, confirming that a phone call had been made. We recounted to them the conversation, including the discussion about the fact that it was a birthday and reminded them of the discussion about having a dessert with candles. Nobody recalled the conversation and we had to leave because they were fully booked. they tried to assert that our reservation had been for the previous day and that she even recalled serving a woman yesterday with the same name, a birthday.“

“Best fancy spot in Ladner, Greek cuisine that outshines restaurants in the city. Truly passionate about food, people, and coming together - fantastic customer experience. Highly recommend - try the Tarama for something different, the tender sauteed calamari for fresh instead of fried, and the lamb options are superb - as is pretty much everything on the menu. The decor is all original imported from Greece and the ambiance is clean, sultry, and cozy. Happy eating =)“

“This Greek restaurant offers a wonderful variety of family style/sharing dishes. The food is absolutely excellent and super fresh! I love their lemon potatoes, their lamb chops are divine, and their chicken kabobs are juicy and tender. We also loved the egg plant dip and the garlic prawns. It’s a fun place to come with friends or on a date. The restaurant is large and nicely decorated but because of all the hard surfaces, very noisy and a bit cold. Not cozy whatsoever. The service is outstanding and the staff really positive.

“Had dinner at Simpatico, a ‘traditional Greco-Roman cuisine restaurant, on 4th avenue.
I ordered the chicken souvlaki. It came with rice and potatoes. My son tried the pizza ‘Mona’s smile’.
Service was good, our waiter was very attentive and the food was very good.
I recommend trying SIMPATICO.“

I asked for the lamb dish and got a very big serving, just wished it had a bit more meat so it'd be perfect to share and that the rice was a bit warmer.
The salad with feta, Potatoes, sauce, bread and lamb tasted really good.
It took roughly 10 minutes to plate this particular dish, but they were upfront abou the wait time.“

“I had the pleasure of dining at Apollo’s Restaurant today, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience. The food was beautifully presented, with generous portions that left me fully satisfied. I ordered the eggs benedict, served with crispy, golden hash browns and a fresh, vibrant side salad. The hollandaise sauce was creamy and perfectly complemented the poached eggs, which were cooked to perfection. The hash browns were well-seasoned, crispy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside, providing a perfect contrast to the rich eggs benedict.

The ambiance was warm and welcoming, with friendly staff & manager who made sure every detail was taken care of. Overall, Apollo’s offers great value for money and is the perfect spot for a hearty brunch or a casual meal with friends. Highly recommended!“

“Awesome find in Tsawwassen- definitely recommend checking out if you are a Greek food lover! A lot closer if you live south of the Fraser compared to other Greek places in Vancouver or beyond. Roast lamb dinners were delicious. Large portions of meat and sides. The potatoes were super lemon-y, which I love! We also ordered a dolmathes appetizer which was great.“

“A great evening dining with my wife Janet at Olympia Pizza on Denman. We come here at least once a visit to Vancouver. The Pizzas here are so good it has become a habit to order them. Tonight we broke our tradition and had a steak dinner (Janet ) and Moussaka dinner ( Me ) . They were so tasty and had us remembering our stops in Greece on this summer's Mediterranean cruise. Always friendly service and a welcoming manner. We'll be back. 🤠👍“

“Whenever I come to Tsawwassen Mills, I always grab a pita wrap from Opa. Amongst all the other options at the food hall, Opa's selection is probably the healthiest. The pita feast has decent Caesar salad, freshly fried fries. Not bad for mall food. Avoid the baklava, however. it's soggy and not fresh, not the crispy mouth feel that we associate this dessert with!“
