“My favorite, calamari with Greek salad. Salad is yummy, fresh, fries are great. But the only problem I thought was they cut the calamari so thin. So I think, when they buy the frozen calamari, they cut it on half. Like seriously the calamari is thin like paper and full of batter. Service us amazing, the in-house sauces are amazing especially the chillie sauce, just the calamari bit.i stopped going here, I go to the metro town opa instead, or the tsawwassen.“

“Amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was all really good and came quickly. We got the Original Platter and Roast Lamb Shoulder along with Calamari, everything was delicious. It was also a really hot day and the air conditioning was very welcome. Also great experience with our server Lakshay who provided great service and amazing suggestions when we had trouble deciding with the menu! “The food in this place is one of the best Mediterranean food I have tried so far. I recommend it. My favorite is beef souvlaki. The prawn is good as well. Their fries are amazing, and their fries portion is huge. Their spinach dip is really delicious, but the portion is really small, so if you want to share with others, u must order the fries or hummus. Those are big-size starters.“

“The Missus and I along with two family outlaws had a pleasant dinner at the Royal Oak Restaurant. The Missus had visited Royal Oak Pizza in Burnaby many moons ago. The decor inside projects a 1980’s Greek restaurant vibe. The server was friendly and prompt with taking our orders. Our dishes were above average in taste and value priced. There was ample parking in the rear which was very convenient. A nice visit if in the area.“

“A friend took us here from downtown Vancouver and it was so worth the drive! The food was amazing. The service was great! We had a fabulous time and the food here is just so great and authentic. I would highly recommend this place if you are anywhere in the area!“

“Their friendly and their pizza is yummy, service is fast but their Hummus is sadly not traditional and is a big miss. Traditional Hummus generally is light, airy whipped consistency and not soupy. Unfortunately it lacked lemon, Kalamata olives and most surprisingly missed the garlic which is like making Nachos without cheese which the local Raven Pub has somehow masterly failed at but don't get me started. Stick with their Tzatziki & Pizza and your in good hands!“

“This was our first time ordering from any Opa Restaurant. We ordered from Skip the Dishes, and to honest, thought we would give it a try as they were offering Skip points. We are so happy we did. We ordered the mega platter and a couple of sides, and don’t know when we’ve enjoyed a meal more. Everything was absolutely delicious. We also ordered a side of fries ( previously I would have said that fries are just fries) but these were do beautifully seasoned they deserve a special mention.
