“Went here for my birthday with the family and it didn’t disappoint. We tried the Saganaki (fried cheese flamed at our table) for appetizer. And we decided to go with the Greek Platter for 2. This was a 3 course meal that was more than enough for me and wife and needed a box to bring home leftovers. The first course was one spanakopita and one tiropita. Both were tasty. Followed up with 2 small Greek salads paired with the house dressing that brought a nice balance and didn’t over power the salad. The main course was a HUGE platter of two dolmades, moussaka, Greek ribs and rice pilaf. These dolmades were delicious, the moussaka was seasoned, tasted amazing and held up well. And the Greek ribs was a first try for me. The meat was covered with a dry rub that is beyond flavorful and the meat was so tender. This was all served over rice pilaf that was moist Ended with night with a Greek special dessert. Coming to this restaurant for the first time we were well pleased. Will be back again for sure. Our waitress was attentive and helped us understand the menu. If you are looking for a place that puts love into their cooking. Look no further than Five Columns.“
“Nice little restaurant with authentic food. Not cheap, but not expensive, either. Friendly staff. A great place to pop into if you're downtown and get a sudden hankering for a gyro (but note that it's a sit-down restaurant, despite the name). Parking can be a little tight; I'd suggest parking on the street if the alley exit is closed, because it's tricky to try to get out the way you come in.Parking: Next to the cafe, but spots are limited; if the restaurant is full, so will be the free parking lot.“
“First time here and didn’t know what to expect. I ordered the prawn souvlaki and my fiancé ordered the chicken souvlaki. Both the chicken and the prawns were very flavourful and cooked to perfection (not over cooked and dry), so I would highly recommend one of these dishes. My only suggestion is that they should consider using a little less oil (but that’s just a personal preference). Very attentive and friendly waitress. Had a great experience and cannot wait to return for another meal here!“
“My favorite food truck! Always dank, always hits the spot for that savory deliciousness. Their baklava also is absolute fire, usually have it the following morning with coffee. AND they are always so kind and friendly. Good food, good people!“
