Cafe Akroteri is a popular spot for authentic food in the heart of downtown. The restaurant has a big space, plenty of seating, and a bar with a cool vibe. The food is excellent, with popular dishes like the gyro and falafel gyro bowl. The lemon and rice soup is also a hit. Customers often praise the genuine and tasty food, with many saying they want to come back to try everything on the menu. The service is friendly, with waitstaff like Piper and Riley receiving special mentions for their kindness and attentiveness. Visitors have also enjoyed engaging conversations with staff, and sometimes receive unexpected acts of kindness, such as having their meals paid for. While the kitchen can be busy, leading to some wait times, the overall atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Parking can be limited, with a small lot next to the cafe that fills up quickly when busy, but street parking is available. Overall, Cafe Akroteri offers a friendly atmosphere and great food at moderate prices.
